Slamman
If you guys haven't heard already, a TV series premieres VERY soon on cable channel El Rey where series director and creator Robert Rodriguez who has also worked closely with Quintin Tarentino where the term Grindhouse was resurrected for a Retro feel to new Cinematic B-flick revival, Drive In theater appeal.... Sure not to win an Oscar or Emmy, but to entertain just the same..... http://www.elreynetwork.com/ The Series recasts the film's fictional stars and should take the story/s beyond the scope of the films. I don't know a whole lot about it other then what El Rey has been showing in previews to it, but if you're a fan at all, this looks to revisit the film's fun scenes. Can small screen EVER eclipse the big screen? That I leave to you to decide, I have my own doubts, but I am going to watch and see how it reinvents the story. For more widespread availability.... http://variety.com/2014/digital/news/netflix-to-distribute-robert-rodriguez-from-dusk-till-dawn-tv-series-internationally-1201126695/ Edited March 9, 2014 by Slamman

Mr. Scratch
Yeah, but I've also Bad Samaritans, Turbo Fast and The Problem Solverz. And those shows aren't even fit for cable.
Slamman
One advantage of El Ray network is the commercial breaks are brief, like AXS TV with specific ownership controlling I think this plays a part, and hope it can continue. Also the programming of both can still stand improvement. I like Programming Direction that would be akin to your Best Of Favorite home collection of films. All too often it seems that film listings per channel are rebroadcast over and over for a month or so period of time, perhaps based on cost to procure them for any given time. Not sure the politics. Being I have XOD service on my cable, I can watch all of these after they air in consecutive order. On Demand service really is something of a Godsend Edited April 8, 2014 by Slamman
