Race In Teams?

So i just put into a race when i selected the random job button on my phone and i noticed a new option I've never seen before "Race In Teams"

 

What is this?

 

How does it work?

 

Is it like a relay race where you each race a difference part?

It's probably a rally race? Never seen it, but it would be cool to have actual team races
