Do you drop your weapons?

Do you drop your weapons in online mode, if you don't want to scroll through them all in combat? I still hope R* makes it happen, that we can sell our weapons somehow. I don't use my first pistol anymore, so i would love to drop it, but i spend money on it & the upgrades, so... would keep my AP-pistol with silencer, & the new 45 without. And i also don't need 4 assault rifles.

 

I kept my Uzi for drive-bys, but why should i keep the MP5 when i have the advanced MP & the TommyGun? Why can't i sell the weapon? Do i have to throw them in the bin? How are you guys doing it? Keep it, or not?

I wish I could put it somewhere without having to purchase it again. Because all I really use are the minigun, RPG, sticky bombs, carbine, uzi, heavy sniper, and AP pistol. Everything else I just have to scroll past. But I do enjoy having all the weapons so I don't want to just throw them away.

I dropped the lower tier weapons. It's annoying having to cycle through weapons I don't use. I wish there was an option to NOT pick up weapons.

You hold LB then hover over the gun and press B (i think) it should tell you.

but don't, you will pick it back up in a random deathmatch or surivial, waste of time.

 

There should be a weapon locker in our apartments.

I also drop every pistol except the AP. Also the Uzi, as I find the AP to be better when in a car. I used to drop the regular sniper rifle, but one time I was quickly clearing out weapons after a survival and I accidentally dropped the heavy sniper and the near max ammo that went with it. I now keep the regular as backup. Very expensive mistake.

I don't know about Xbox, but on PS3 keep press L1, highlight the weapon you want to get rid of, and press triangle. With circle you will drop the ammo!

For ps3 you pull up the weapon wheel and push triangle whilst on the weapon to be dropped... I drop weapons from time to time, I try to keep the two best in any category one with silencer, one without. Not sure that the silencer helps in anyway but it is fun to pretend...

Yes constantly dropping weapons since my stubborn character keeps picking up new ones all the time.

They should just add a customizable "blacklist" of weapons we don't want so we don't accidentally pick them up from dead enemies (Just pick up ammo & cash). I wish they'd also do this for the Quick GPS. I don't give a sh*t about the Barber, ATM, or Clothes.

 

 

Edit: I submitted a ticket to Rockstar. I'm glad I'm not the only bothered by this (I thought I was just being lazy/picky)!

I anyways keep my regular sniper,since you can't silence the heavy. Definitely use the heavy more, but sometimes stealth is required.

I don't mind having a big arsenal in SP where the game pauses while you have the weapon wheel up, but online I try to only carry what I need

The weapons system annoys me. I drop weapons because they don't remember what I use often, and always are the same crap at the beginning of the wheel.

Also hate when driving switching between c4 and the uzi takes about ten hits to the b button.

It would be nice if we could store what we don't need somewhere, (gun cabinets in apartment?)

 

It also would be nice to set what weapons you want, so as to avoid forgetting about them, and having to scroll in a mission or FR fight.

 

But, yeah, I drop the ones I don't have a use for, the best alternative we have so far.

I pretty much use a certain weapon in each class, the rest of the sh*t I throw out.

 

It'd be nice to store weapons in the trunk of your car. Maybe once you get to like level 100+ you get a Little Jacob system, where you can sell weapons to other players for a discount?

About the clothes... i have many free clothes in my wardrobe i don't use. Why can't i throw them into the trash? Please R*...
