What I mean is, Do people really play them now or everyone is just grinding missions now? I love to create races and stuff and I am fascinated by the thought that someone will play my race or death match but the problem is I am really worried that my hard work may go waste considering that no one may at all play race or deathmatch. So what do you guys think? Should I create or I am wasting my time and instead just play missions.

Before RR everyone used to drive around in circles all day in Criminal Records.

Grinders..... Fun is not their goal. :D

Yea if you can have a good day, and not land in "Prison Thugz" 26 times before getting sent to a real map.

When you create your own deathmatch or race, after its done, go to 'Host Job' and pick your creation, set the matchmaking to 'open' and then click 'auto invite and play' ... As long as you make the options enjoyable to most people, your lobby will fill up and you can play.

If no one joins, just try again later.

My first race that I created a week or two ago, had no trouble finding people to race it and like or dislike it.

Its called 'Horny Girls' if anyone wants to search for it.

OMG, this. This is why I stopped even trying to play DM's.

I had 7 good matches yesterday. Out of probably 40 I entered which 98% were all user created melee matches. I was steaming.

I just played my first TDM in months with a crew member. Surprised I went 17-6 as I'm very rusty..:)

Team Deathmatch is full of people. I've probably played 80 or so in the last couple weeks. Racing, Contact Missions, Deathmatches will always have people. Capture, Parachuting, Versus Missions, LTS are dead however, I can never find people. Which sucks because I'd really like to do parachuting, captures, and versus missions. LTS however is no fun. The concept works but 10 min lobby transition for a 1 min match isn't worth it, especially if you die early and spend awhile doing nothing as you watch a standoff.

When it comes to money, yea contact missions are best and Deathmatch is weak. When I play Deathmatch, I might win 7k to 12k but usually I've spent $400 on armor, $1k-$2k on revealing players, and then $1k-$2k restocking full ammo next match. So it certainly isn't for the money. I do it for the Platinum Awards and Tattoos.

I've played plenty of custom Deathmatches. Usually they suck because someone has some crazy idea of fun that just turns into a onesided match or an annoying treck around obstacles with no consideration of balance or such. Even the R* Verified aren't that great. They usually consist of tanks and jets (which don't respawn). Seal Team Six is an example of overuse that becomes onesided every time.

In the end, I don't think you're wasting your time creating Deathmatches. But if you don't play them, then you shouldn't create them until you get a feel for a wide variety of deathmatches and how they play out depending on location, buildings, weapons, available verticality, etc.

Thanks for that HUGE Tip bro! Appreciate it!

I used to play the Prison Deathmatch a lot. Never spent on armour cause you can easily access armour from the inventory and activate it. So don't wanna waste 400$ when I can easily activate it. Then as the match started I used to run to the top/roof of the prison and pulled out my sniper. I had a easy view of every enemy from the top so I could kill and see everyone even if they even hid themselves on the map. Man it was really fun and no one could hardly kill me. Now when I join hardly see anyone there. All are playing RR.

I play DMs all the time, just like races. I love the custom content skilled content creators like me put out. And I never got matched into "PRISON THUGZ FIGHT"

EDIT: I only play DMs with "Forced + Pick-ups" because I only want to spend money on armor.

They should have an option in the matchmaking if you prefer R* created maps, R* verified, user created, or all 3.

Activating armor in the inventory menu doesn't give you armor...

The option to play user created content is good, the problem is Rockstar has to better filter what is verified.

No their pointless. People only play prison thgz fight and it's quite sad you can't seem to land in

a decent deathmatch. Only prison thugz fight.. Races are pointless people just try to spin you out the whole race.

I'm getting tired and bored of Gta

Out of the 15 or so user ones I've decided to try maybe 4 I actually liked (non verified). Prison Thugz and Battle GTA are the stupidest ones they verified. Pad of Death isn't bad but wouldn't be something I would host. The rest of the verified ones are pretty good. But I'll take Vinewood Kills, Bio Lab, Maze, Back Alley, Symmetry, or Derelict Motel, just to name a few, any day over the verified ones
