Spawning with a Wanted Level?

Don't know if this is the right place to put it but recently I saw a guy robbing an Armoured car and manage to sticky bomb his getaway vehicle and take the money for myself. Another Armoured truck appeared within the same location and again he want for it so I went past and threw another sticky bomb. I was on a Nemesis and as I was driving past him I accidently hit right on the D-Pad killing both him and myself. When I respawned I called in my Jester and noticed I had a one star wanted level... strange. A third armoured car appeared but this time I sticky bombed it before the other player could get a chance, hence I got a three star wanted level. When I got out to grab the cash he picked me off with a rifle and took the cash. Once again I respawned but this time I had a three star wanted level.

 

Is the game glitching or does the wanted level somehow carry over if you die too soon after getting one? Ended up with both cars impounded.

Fairly certain it is a glitch and you got unlucky there.

spent a few hours in total chaos last night. happened a few times to me, think the game struggles to keep up with loads goin on...

Yeah, I have this happen from time to time. It's especially irritating when I suicide to lose the level in the first place. I guess suicide is technically illegal in many places, and in SA every crime is punishable by death, again.

Nope, not a glitch. For some bad actions there is a time window (Like a civilist calling the police).

You just respawned faster than the call police event finished it's sleep and so you got a star.

 

Or a civilist walked through the fire caused by the sticky explosion

Same thing but with a crate drop. I killed the people and then blew up the crate with a grenade, but I got killed by someone else who snagged it right before my eyes.

 

Then when I respawned I got a 1 star wanted level.

Its awesome when i call lester to remove wanted level and the wanted level reappears after you pay him

The three star wanted level is caused by you shooting a cop, dying, and when you respawn the cop bleeds to death, resulting in three stars.
