I have an honest question for you all

Seeing online has taken off (a supposed idea from the earlier games dating back),many options for DLC's and getting a grasp of the online community arise for this generation of the game.

If you had a chance to work for Rockstar* on the next GTA game (VI sound's stupid to me but,as a chapter) what would you add or have different knowing what we know now?

the game would be so much more immersive and last longer, plus there would be millions of hours of SP DLC. also, the quality of the game would improve vastly simply by removing the extra online content. GTA would be whole again, and players would like it for more than a month. also, it would solve most if not all security issues that a lot of online games deal with now days.

id like to take it back to the 70s maybe 80s (cocain era lol) playing 2 people in single-player with a longer story then current gta 5

First character being a crooked cop through choices ( has to decide on major things that may benefit / comprehend the other character so you could either be crooked or good or both)

Second character being part of a mafia family which eventually gets to the top position game would have to include drug running by boat or plane, buisness ownership legit or corrupt turf wars vs other mafias, recruitment an training both cop an mafia,

Basically both characters could have it all, 1 could have it all (cop fame for taking down the mafia, mafia could buy off the cop or kill them through choices, fake evidence, raid tip offs etc)

i duno for the next gta i kind of want a character on the side of the law like alot of others do, this would also open up for a bigger online with people either playing as cops or crims with cop based missions abilities to arrest etc.

could be fun idk.

If Online only, I would just disconnect GTA Online from GTA V (and replace it with GTA IV like free mode) and call it GTA World. Then add the missing pieces of San Andreas, North Yankton, Liberty City and Vice City, and have plane tickets to connect them. And it will be free to play with microtransactions if people wish to use them.

I'd bring tommy vercetti and vice city back see wats changed nearly 30 years on. Would the building sites and constructions still be there or finished ? Would the strip club still be down the alley at the back of all them colourful brightly lit hotels on the beach front ? Maybe see if the mall was still there. And how can I forget. Malibu club ? I'd love go there again. Go on r* bring vice city 30 years after tommy vercetti became the richest man in vice city.......

I forgot to add my idea.

 

I still prefer GTA's core concept of a multiplayer sandbox. Probably have an actual storyline for your online character, with plot and such. Each online character starts the same, but they shape their plot like in Skyrim. There's still a major storyline, but your ending will depend on how you actually play. The ending is what would happen when you hit a certain level, like maybe 500 or 1000.

 

Also for story mode, a side of someone who is actually a good guy with a good rep, spiraling from grace as he gets wedged more and more into the junk he got forced into. Only happened one time in the entire GTA series, and it's Victor Vance the discharged army guy.

I'd blur the lines between the traditional single player story mode and cooperative online play.

 

In V, the AI controlls your allies when you're not controlling them, but in VI, i'd like for your GTA Online freidns and crew to be able to play in your story as any of the characters you're not controlling (like the other 2 main characters, or people you've recruited for heists). You could still play offline and have the AI control them if you wanted.
