Did I just played a mini heist?

I'm not very active in GTA V or GTA Online lately as I don't usually have time and all the friends I had on Xbox sold it or just quit playing it, and most time I play its on my PC, not my XBOX, but today I decided to play some GTA Online and drive around a bit with my Turismo.

 

I accidentally accepted a mission, as soon as I joined, there were 3 other people, the mission was locked a second right after I joined and I was like "meh, let's play this, at least there is a full crew to play with"

 

 

The mission consisted in going to a warehouse, owned by Merryweather (I've never been in that interior before, probably it's been scripted/mapped recently), hack a door, then a safe, and get the briefcase/intel/Idon'tremember to Lester.

 

It was insanely difficult to survive, only 2 of us did. Merryweather had assault rifles, shotguns and RPG.

 

In addition, I had to hack the door and safe by myself, no one covering me at any point...

 

After hacking the door there were like 4 Merryweather people behind it, watching the safe, I luckily killed them without dying as I had an automatic shotgun equipped, I was left with 1HP....

 

Took the briefcase, ran back, safely cleared a lil bit the entrance to the merryweather warehouse and when I went out the other guy was there waiting with a chopper, we flee to Lester's safely and completed the mission.

 

I was payed 38.000$ for completing this. The rest of the guys around 18.000$.

 

I don't know if this is one of the new scripted missions or it's been there for long, but I've never seen it or played it until today.

 

It's the first time I enjoyed GTA Online in months. Bravo R*, now release it on PC please :(

 

 

(Mods please, rename the Topic Name to "Did I just play a mini-Heist?" , I had an error at writing the title. Sorry for that. English is not my main language and sometimes I don't write stuff properly because I type faster than I think :p )

That's Stocks and Scares mission, one of my favorites.

 

P.S. First time through any mission, you get double pay (I think or $20k bonus or something)...

I played that before. I think its a mission given by Lester. Forgot the name though. And payed you 38k because it was your first time playing it.

No that is just a mission. Can't recall the name of the mission, but it's just a co-op. It's really not that hard in auto aim, but free aim can be difficult sometimes. It depends on your teammates and how much you work together. I always take one of the merryweather jeeps when we make our getaway. It's a fun mission.

When me and the crew did it I always called a buzzard as it spawns the next dock along. They go inside, take out the guys and pick the lock, I take out the cars that come and then fly them to Lester's.

Yup fun as heck with the right people. I got one friend and she hosts it all the time. We all support her while she hacks and cracks. quick five minutes and rarely anybody dies. Breaks up the routine of rooftop

Off the top of my head, I would say "The Los Santos Connection"... takes place in 3 different areas (4 if you let the boss take off in his plane)... and some hacking.

Here's a couple others I remember that have the "Hacking"... which I think makes it feel like a mini-heist.

 

Chemical Extraction
Hack and Dash
Dry Docking

this is one of the missions i have on routine its pretty fun, never really found it too difficult an now with the jester i just grab the stuff an speed off they cant shoot threw the back window so i get away pretty quickly lol.

Its a great mission. Not knowing how tough it could be.. I did it with a guy who died earlier in the game. With zero lives, I had to do the entire thing myself. It was f'n awesome!

This mission has a 2 person minimum to start ...

 

OT it's Stocks and scares. One of my favs. 38k first time, 18.75 after initial completion - same pay as rooftop rumble. It is like a mini heist, only I hope heists are a little more challenging.

If you liked "Stocks & Scares", you should also look out for "The Los Santos Connection", "Dry Docking", "Chemical Extraction" and "Method in the Madness".

Wrong. Rank has NOTHING to do with mission payout. OP got paid $38k whereas the rest of the players got $18k because it was the first time OP completed the mission.

Stocks and Scares, I solo it usually :-P

Doubtful, it takes 2 players to start.

Base invaders is a pretty good one. Anyone know the name of a Lester mission where you gotta go into the base and get a cargobob and lose 4 stars then go to the docks and get a container? I haven't been able to even lose the 4 stars in the cargobob.

Base invaders is a pretty good one. Anyone know the name of a Lester mission where you gotta go into the base and get a cargobob and lose 4 stars then go to the docks and get a container? I haven't been able to even lose the 4 stars in the cargobob.

What, dock to stocks I, II, and III?

If you can't shake the cops, fly towards the entrance to the sewers in the water control canal near the horse race track and hide in there.

the one where you hack a safe and then steal a boat....Get in the boat, and then get out and snipe the incoming chopper or you will die.

 

Long ass boat ride to the checkpoint kill the fun of that one unless you'r wearing an all white suit with a pink t-shirt

and yep...Stocks and Scares is fun. Have done it solo on hard many times and always enjoy using the walkways to fight my way through the warehouse to the heliport where i have an escape chopper waiting :)
