Are They ever gonna put New Music on Game

Probably not. I'm almost getting to the point where idk if I want new stuff besides missions and the like. Everything they add to the game is slowing it down that much more. Current gen consoles just can't handle the size of it. Last few weeks as I'm driving buildings haven't been rendering until I'm practically past them.

They probably won't just because of the cost of licensing new music.

 

Id like it if they had an option to add your own music but because of copyrights and liscense fees i dont see they adding that either.

Would GTAV's potential make the licences that much more expensive? Back in the early games where it wasn't such a huge game and everyone wasn't trying to claw some cash for themselves, they had great songs but these days the songs are all tight-ass sh*tty ones..

 

Or too much money for the gameplay and not enough coin for the songs..

Idk, I'm used to games like this having similar music settings, and I even think there's enough variety for me to be content, especially since I may only hear a couple songs to completion.

It'd be cool if they did something where you could integrate your console's native music player and have like an app or something for ifrut in game.

 

edit: The selection that they have is definitely some quality music.

Would be cool if they added some new tunes in future dlc. I'm guessing if they want GTA online to last for awhile it would a feature they wouldn't ignore. Not sure how. Maybe clear out the current playlists and add new songs? Not sure but if they are really making the money predicted earlier this year then licensing new songs wont even be an issue.

Wasn't it gta vice city or libery city stories where you could play music on the xbox's hdd? I miss that. Why wouldn't they implement something they already had before in previous games from the same franchise of games?

I remember on original Xbox, you could play music in Vice City. Albeit, on Xbox 360, you can just pull up the guide and stream music. Not the same I know but still an idea. I think with IV they added music and radio for the two large DLC packs. If they do any large DLC packs, I see them adding content. I wouldn't mind paid content, I just worry about splitting the community.

the only time they added new music was for the GTA 4 Episodes, I just don't see it happening. As far as playing your own music you can do that on the 360 IIRC.

No, because it costs R* money to be able to use songs in the game. Unless R* wants to put new radio stations in the GTA V AND THEN charge in-game money (enticing people to buy shark cards) for them, then it's definitely NO..... because it wouldn't make R* any money and they give ZERO sh*ts about their gamers/fans

 

With that being said.... I wish we could make a custom radio station with the songs that are already in the game.

 

I really love several songs, but I like several songs on several stations. I like one song on this station, and one song on that station, and one song on another station.... it sucks being that way. I wish I could put all the song I like onto one station.
