Your opinion on Merryweather

I liked them. They where pretty cool as the antagonistic group in GTA V. I kind of wish they had some base like the fortzancudo base, where they operate mostly ( I know they have one in South port of LS.) But yeah, what did you think of MW , did you like them, and want them to return in the SP DLC?

I hope that they return in the SP DLC. The owner did tell MTF that if they mess with him, there would be a problem.

Yeah! It would be cool to see Don Percovel to somehow be the main Antagonist. After all, the SP DLC does continue F, T and M's criminal career.

Why I think MerryWheater is the best bakery on the face of this earth and they have the best bread that i've ever...Oh wait you meant MerryWeather.

Oh yeah MerryWeather is a good antagonist. I hope to see more of them because I can imagine that we'll unlock the hunter and that other military truck through them.

I'm sure we will be hearing much more from Merryweather...

Does that mean my 100% gamesave will drop to 50% when this DLC is released as Rockstar rushed the game and is gonna add "more" to the story for F, M, and T months after release date? Lol

enough MerryWeather !! that was a bit surreal, I mean it was fun to fight a army but I can imagine these dudes in Iraq not in the US, sometimes I didn't understand where they came from.

They lost there licence to operate on US soil at the end of the story anyway. so it's over hopefully. we need gang dlc for franklin and lamar and no more Merryweather and FIB. Enough is enough

They were known as the FBI in the GTA games before IV.

So? Don can still get his revenge regardless of that.

What if Don and his crew got arrested? That would make for a good storyline where Franklin somehow snitches on Merryweather and the FIB or LSPD bust in with SWAT and they all take down Merryweather with the help of Franklin of course.

I think there's got to be some involvement in the DLC. Maybe a few rouge workers give out a possible hiest or missions.

You're right. I actually wanted to ask this question to someone on the forum, but never knew were to put it? In III, there was the FBI Kuruma which came out at 5/6 stars. In VC, there was an FBI Washington and FBI Landstalker (or some type of SUV), in SA, there also was FBI. Why did they change in IV and V to FIB?

I assume for the play on words. A fib is another word for a lie. Just like the government. Liars.

I'd assume so, too. It's just...odd. Since they should of just did that from the start, calling the FBI the FIB instead of changing it half way through the franchise/series.

I don't really think lizard army was very fleshed out, they were kind of just there.

maybe because gta v is much more immersive and realistic, they just didn't want to show FBI having tons of corrupted agents, doing corrupted activities, or players killing tons of FBI agents etc... like the same reason why they never put children in gta games. because it's a real establishment.

I honestly thought they were half assed, COD like and out of place.

Anyways I felt they were very unrealistic. I rather have gang stuff ( Since we didn't use gangs in the main game ) than Merryweather again.

I've always said that Merryweather and Devin should've been the only antagonist. Scrap the heist theme and make the story completely about trying to take down Merryweather before they take you down. It could've gotten into so many cool things. Set ups, conspiracies, Humane Labs... I could imagine so many cool things had they been the sole antagonist.

Well, I have seen Franklin visit our office to inform us about someone... :p

But the storyline would be more interesting if Don breaks out of jail, and attacks Mike's house. MTF will have to take em' down with the traditional method.

I don't think they were used properly. Rockstar should have made them have a strong presence in the desert and countryside areas fighting drug trade. They are mercenaries after-all. I thought it was so silly that the only thing merryweather did in V was poke their nose into what Michael, Franklin and Trevor were doing.

They should of had a hardcore rasta gang instead of Merryweather like the ones from the Getaway, those were some bad f*cking rastas, that would of been way more interesting.
