Don't judge a book by its cover. You're still making nothing but assumptions, without any evidence to back it up.

The cognitive dissonance is strong in this one. Oh, and also, I'm not a brony - I just like to at least have half a clue about what I'm talking about so I don't make a fool of myself. The same can't be said for you.

I think you've just lost all credibility.

The book's cover is ponies, and it's about colorful ponies in Ponyville. You're a complete idiot, because there are no assumptions, it's all facts. The show is about ponies in Ponyville spreading the magic of friendship. That's a fact, and you need to deal with it.

I'm going to make a TV series about a serial killer who mass murders for fun. But every episode there will be a 5 minute session where the killer teaches kids their multiplication tables. Then I'll say, as the creator, it was targeted for all audiences.

That's your logic right there, and it makes YOU look like a complete fool, as this is the most pathetic MLP defense I have ever seen.

"I have said so therefore it's facts. I WIN!"

Nope. Sorry, doesn't work like that. If you're going to come up with an argument, then you're going to have to do better than "BUT IT HAS PONIES ON THE COVER11!!"

Go ahead. I'll wait. Once again, I challenge you to come up with any shred of evidence.

More assumptions. Okay, I gave you a fair chance to come up with some evidence... And you've just ended up repeating what you've said before.

Again, not a brony - just someone who prefers to have half a clue about something before posting their opinion. Buuuut, screw it... You're going to ignore me again and just call me a brony in the next post *sigh*

I'm bored of this. I think one of the developers saying that it's a show aimed at all people is a lot more solid than some online store saying "toys for kids". If you choose to ignore the main developer herself saying that you're wrong, then you're beyond hope and worthy of nothing but contempt. Enjoy your delusions.

Mind you, I'm a girl

You shouldn't of said that here. Prepare yourself for 10 year olds spamming PMs to you

It is a double whammy trap.... Rather then just having a girl avatar... people sniff on to that nowadays, so he is doing the "thought i was a boy but in really a girl story"... but even better then usual, it was just slipped in, almost unnoticeable... almost.

Blue's Clues

Blue's Clues is the greatest children's television show to ever exist. I owned almost every single season on VHS, and would watch it for hours on end.

Like I said, a few adult references to keep the fathers from suffering doesn't mean a damn. Bye, and don't forget your Fashion Fluttershy toy on the way out.

This point is fair enough. I like the show becuase is cute, fun, and makes good writing fodder. (Oh look, I'm pretty much copying what I wrote in a different thread!) Though I will admit there comes a sense of "I'm different!" From watching the show. But I don't see that as a bad thing.

The only people I'm going to disrespect are people who think all Bronies are autistic or whatever. Saying it's a fad is reasonable, but I don't see it as a bad thing. But that's just my opinion.

I dislike the people who watch it 100% because they like the sense of being different. You know there's people that probably just watched 2 episodes, and then just slapped a pony avatar on their profile of whatever website they're on, and preach how much of a brony they are, just for the sense of entitlement.

It's like if I watched 2 episodes of Breaking Bad, and just looked up the summaries to the rest, and called myself a huge Breaking Bad fan, just to fit in because the show was popular.

I agree with you there. It's like how I can't stand when someone listens to Stairway to Heaven and automatically claims they are the biggest Led Zeppelin fan in the world. It's ridiculous. So personally, I think the only people who have the right to be called a brony are people who enjoy the whole show.

As for the other argument going on in here, I think it's pretty simple. Any kids show or movie is going to have some jokes adults can enjoy, more or less. My Little Pony has these and it is has characters like Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash among others. Therefore, it is popular.

Anyway, this argument is getting pointless. The real people that need a punch in the gut are the ones that make generalizations about the mental state of bronies. :D

Yeah, no clue why someone would say liking MLP has to do with mental health. It's called a guilty pleasure. I have a friend who likes Justin Bieber's music. The dude's 24, and purely just enjoys his music, and is not part of the target audience of his music, young girls.

I'm actually glad that dude linked that article, because in the comments, there is a user who counter arguments the whole thing very well.

"Why do you think that even with the knowledge that the show is watched by more young men then little girls does Hasbro continue to make sure the show is still targeted to little girls. All the marketing is for little girls. If Hasbro really wanted to they could easily make the show more gender neutral and change the marketing for everyone."

MLP's target audience is young girls, and it always will be. That's Hasbro's target audience, and Hasbro owns the show.

Howard Stern is a washed up has-been, but he's right about that I suppose. Still, I can't stand that wig-wearing twat anymore.

Come come now Bio, you and I both know that's a HORRIBLE analogy... Don't think angry like that. That was like my dad's big dildo in a rape dungeon analogy for being giving tanks and explosives; but being punished for using them.

Alright, so in the first 40 or so seconds he says that all bronies are turned on by the show. If that's not a sign the whole video will be bullsh*t than I don't know what is.
