Will the GTA online save your stats to the PC verison?

Okay so i've been looking around a bit on the interwebs and i haven't found anything really on this question so i thought i could ask the forums.

Basically what i'm wondering is if your stats, house, cars and so on will be transferred from the console verison of the game to the PC version of the game when it comes out?
Why i'm wondering this is because i can't help but to feel like i'm doing missions races and stuff and wasting time if i have to start all over again when the game comes out for PC:/

There's a PC version?

On a serious note, I bet since everything is centered around the social club, it would be possible.

Haha yeah i probably should have made that clearer that there's no PC verison yet.

But i'm actually 99% sure that the game will come out on PC atleast at some point :)

Most likely not. Mainly because, as mentioned above, regardless of social club and cloud servers, a lot of information is saved on either xbox live or PSN, and there's probably some data protection laws about transferring that to whatever the PC equivalent is. Did your GTA4 online progress transfer over when you got the PC version? My guess is that it didn't, and probably hasn't on any other game ever.

Because the GTA IV, RDR etc. online stats are stored locally on the console.

And I'm pretty sure most stats / your characters are stored on the SocialClub servers, not XBL/PSN (that's why you go into a temporary character mode when the SocialClub servers are down). But yeah, I don't see it carrying over as I did not have access to my characters when I was playing the PS3 version of the game at a friends place.

And this is exactly the reason why there will be no PC version. That and...you know...the fact that Rockstar hasn't announced a PC version. When that happens, then soonafter there will be a PC version. Until then, there will be no PC version.

Normally, no.

They MIGHT approach this as EA and BF4 did, with a limited time stats transfer between platforms, but that game had a personal stake in it: 10$ exchange coupon for platforms - as in you buy the game for PS3, let`s say, then pay 10$ more to get it for PS4, which you can play with your PS3 disk.

IF there will be a PC version, probably all will start from zero, regardless of their other platforms.
