The way I see it, the Carbonizzare to the Elegy is what the Adder is to the Entity.

The Carbonizzare murders the Elegy on races with lots of straight lines (or nothing but a long straight line like Long Haul 2), but the Elegy is much more versatile and can be relied upon in races like Cutting Coroners, Vinewood Nights, Drift King, etc.

Carbonizarre all the way. It really is an awesome car IF you know how to drive it. I've beaten out Jesters in it. Plus is looks good.

Elegy corners well but its not fast enough for me to consider it anywhere close to the Carbonizarre.

The Jester is just plain hideous imo so there's that.

The Jester and Elegy are both outright better than the Carbo in anything besides a straight race with no proper turns and anyone who doesn't realize that is fooling themselves, which is better of the Jester and Elegy is a tougher question but they're definitely not far off from each other. I own both but in different garages and I haven't raced the Jester (yet), but I have raced against a Jester and a couple Banshees plus a Carbo in my Elegy last night (Vespucci Dreams, Customs on, Catch-up off, Slipstream on, Traffic on, 2 laps) and I came in first by a lot, Banshee came in second and Jester third, Carbo fourth and the other Banshee last.

Doesn't prove anything on it's own any more than any of these other results people keep posting, but if they can do it so can I. It's safe to say though that anyone who thinks the Jester is outright the best now is full of sh*t, the Elegy is at least as good (and the Carbo unquestionably worse than both in anything but a straight line, and it's not even a proper race without proper turns so that means jack sh*t).

if you cant drive the jester and elegy are perfect because they are easy mode cars with super unrealistic traction. If you know how to drive the carbo should be in supercar class

Inb4 l0l it's nawt Carbonizarre or Elergy #sweg #y0l0 #ch4dd3r

OT: Jester, acceleration is insane

Carbonizer is faster than the jester.

Actually, the Carbonizzare has the same top speed as the Jester, which is 8.5. This makes them faster than the Entity (8.3) and just slower than the Adder (8.6).

False, the jester cant even keep within 30 miles of the carbon. I did a few tests in freeroam and the jester cant keep up even when maxed

Actually true. Just look at the social club stats. If Rockstar is lying, then I guess you're right. The reason the Jester can't keep up is because STOCK its acceleration is inferior to the Carbo.

Bought the Jester... fully modified it... learned how to drive it and performed 1 second faster than the Carbonizzare in Lost & Found and the Commute. I had an Elegy.

(+) for the Jester: better shifting, better handling, tires stick to the ground, never slides out, doesn't spin out on rapid acceleration, get to top speed faster than the Carbonizzare.

(-) for the Jester: very light that it easily goes out control on a little bump or someone attempting a pit maneuver. Reminds me of the 9F but not as bad.

But since 99% of races ae dirty then the Carbonizzare is still the better option b/c it doesn't get pit meaneuvered as easily as the Jester.

As far as appearance? The Jester destroys the Carbonizzare for LSC mods.

Best bang for the buck and easiest to drive? Definitely the Elegy. I had one fully modified until I bought the Carbonizzare. I wish I kept it though b/c it's the easiest and best of the 3.

Am I the only one that reads every post that spells Elegy as "Elergy" like the poster has a speech impediment?

Me Too.. Where the f*ck did the R come from??

The Coquette Rocks IMO.. I know its the underdog. But I just love the looks, sound, easy to correct, and its got balls out acceleration. Just like its IRL inspiration..

If you know how to drive, you would know that the Elegy is faster on a track.

Ridicilous. Yes, the Jester and Elegy has a lot better traction than the Carbonizzare but are they easier to drive? Hell no!

Where the Carbonizzare is predictable and will always spin i's wheels a little the Jester and Elegy has full traction or no traction. If you go a bit too hard you will be facing the wrong direction and it takes skill to maintain these cars under the ideal circumstances.

Are we talking about looks? Because the Supra can't keep up with the GT-R

haha, I see what you did there. My buddy owned an R-33 and another had the 4 door version (not sure of the model, but it had a serious rev limiter on it and cut off halfway through 5th) - when I was in Germany. I was actually looking at a Supra when I got there, but ended up getting an RX-7... worst mistake I ever made, and before complete engine failure I could not even floor it on the Autobahn without it feeling like I was going to be carried away by a small gust of wind. The R33 was a red demon from hell and I must say, if I chose any skyline over a Supra, it would be one of the older models, not the new ones.

In game though, I just never liked the handling on the RH-8... that thing should be much more beastly but it's kind of weak. Personally, in game, I like the Ferrari (Carbonizarre) look and feel much more. For new cars, the only one I like is the Turismo.

EDIT:

here are some pics of those cars (off topic but o'well):

2 door beast

and my rx-7

the "new" on the plates was something americans got.. no other plates had them. the 4 door pics were taken before he had those plates. all these cars were straight from Japan.

Because this is obviously a true driving simulator. Insert GT or Forza comment here.

OT: I would say the Jester splits the difference fairly well between the RH8 and the Carbo in terms of performance and relative to handling (rear doesn't step out nearly as easily as the Carbo). The Jester isn't Coquette forgivable but it has hints of "Infernus: Put It Where You Want It" drivability.

I would also say the Jester isn't as good as the RH8 where grip and traction are crucial (as the RH8 has a more favorable distribution of power), but it's right up there. IMO the Carbo suffers some key deductions when it comes to that (similar to Turismo vs XF).

We are nitpicking here though. Neither of these cars are miles ahead of the other and they're 3 very wonderful examples of "best in class". From my experience though, if I had to, it would look like this:

RH8 > Jester > Feltzer > Carbo (again talking about minor stuff but still enough to place a hierarchy IMO as a whole)

Of course as mentioned though, it's going to be track and situationally dependent.

I sold my carbo with no hesitation. It used to be my favorite car but its just so slippery, its almost useless. The Jester is amazing really, quick accel and great traction. Also looks amazing and sounds amazing. The elegy is also up there with the Jester. Good traction, ok sound, good speed, great mods etc. Elegy and Jester are my fav's in the sports class, followed by the comet.

When people don't know how to drive ... Carbonizzare doesn't slip unless you're dumb enough to make it slip.

The Jester simply CAN'T handle a corner like the Carbo or the Elegy ... you need to crush that damn handbrake to allow yourself a clean turn.

With the carbo I "activate" the handbrake and let it drift all the around the corner with perfection.

The Carbonizzare was my car of choice since I bought one in last October. Always been driving that Cabernet Red/Pearlescent Torino Red Carbonizzare along with 4 other Carbonizzares in my garage.

I recently sold 3 of them to buy those new cars, including the Jester.

The Carbonizzare has a WAY more subtle direction. When you steer : it's quick.

With the Jester you can't turn without the help of the hand brake and it goes up in the air way too often when you hit an obstacle with the sides or front.

With the Elegy which I never drove or even owned, I know that it handles corners pretty easily and one of my friend usually always win races when we compet CarboVsElegy because of that.

The Jester's acceleration is somehow sick, the design is wonderful (Honda NSX '14), the customization features are pretty good and allows a great modabilty, while it handles corners like crap. The engine's sound seems to be the same as in the F620 (Ocelot), which ain't bad but closer to weak muscle car than a sport car. People talk about it as a drift car, I personnally think it ain't since it requires a really LARGE road to make a drift (can only drift at high speed), otherwise you'll end up in the wall.

The Carbonizzare's acceleration is also sick and makes the car slip pretty often when you don't own it ( I do and it barely happens to me now that I own the driving of this car). The design is sick and one of the prettiest car made in the game (as in for the first release, not including DLC cars). The engine's sound though is by far the most attractive one, sounds like a F1 ... wondrous. About corners, I pretty much think it's a bad ass car. It won't make the quickest turn, but it will allow you some awesome and magnificent drifts at high speed just like at medium speed.

The Elegy ... as said I never owned it and never really drove it. I know it handles corners way better than the Carbonizzare ... I don't like the engien sound and IRL I simply hate the Nissan GT36 / GT-R's design and all ... personal opinion :).

PS : Sorry for any bad english or mispellings here, I'm pretty tired this evening and I'm not british, neither am I american.

We all appreciate this "breaking it down" post although things like speed and accel. are set in stone, handling is not. Handling is based on opinion which in turn is based on the persons ability to drive. The reason I say this is because you said jesters handling is bad which in my opinion, i dont think it is at all. I have no problem turning, steering or drifting with it. I think it has great handling.

Jesters top characteristic is its accel., elegy for handling in general and carbonnizare for its top speed.

You can't drive. If you do handbrake turns and "drift all around the corners" you aren't close to perfection.

Traction and not spinning your wheels equals good lap times.

Stop making threads that will only end in a flame war..

Okay guys, PS4 vs. XboxOne, GO!

Xbox One. Gaystation 4 is for hungry peasants who can't afford an Xbox, because they use their money to pay Sony, which is run by the Japanese, to improve their nuclear weapon industry, to pay back America.

Go for Xbox if you support the Land of Opportunity, the land of George Washington, the land of liberty, the land of Coca-Cola.

Or just buy one of each since they are both made in China.
