The IBT Times say mansions, heists and tournaments will all be included in the 1.12 update. There are some evidence to support this claim. In the latest update 1.11 Rock* added the option on the gps for multiple properties.

"Reddit users reported the latest 1.11 Business Update for “GTA Online” already allows the ability to purchase more than one apartment – and possibly even a mansion. However, those files haven't been activated by developer Rockstar".

Heists is another possibility because in the 1.11 update a printer was added for the up market apartments. A text file was pulled from the 1.11 update " Press INPUT CONTEXT- to collect heist details-start the heist. Make of it all as you wish.

I have to admit that I am a absolute sucker for the aggressive (and sometimes destructive) approach. Let's just say that I'll be stocking up on sticky bombs and grenades when heists come out.

Oh thanks. Is there just the one casino? It does have banners saying opening soon on It so it is a possibility that Rock* might release it in update 1.12 or dlc maybe? I don't think the hackers/reddit found any text files or names regarding casinos. Correct me if I'm wrong.

About 3 months ago, there was an audio leak with Lester talking about the Casino opening along with other possible DLC.

You haven't heard any of it because all of the content that they are referring to hasn't come out yet except for the phone upgrade during the Christmas Event.

And this attitude is why heists will fail not a personal dig Bozzah, I'm not a huge fan of those annoying keypads either). Everyone will want to be a gunman or a driver and no one will be prepared to take what is looked upon as a less exciting roll. Part of the reason why I will most likely not bother with heists when they are released.

 

Oh, and your sig should read "search and destroy". Same message and an awesome song.

There could be ways around that. If it was up to me, I'd let players choose which one they want to be, and if 2 players choose the same role then it would randomly assign one of them to that role and the other guy to something else.

Man, I'd hate that to be responsible for Heists to be not as awesome as they could be. But again, this is a paranoid attention-deficit trigger-happy gaming generation. I'm assuming this is also the same people who enjoy Michael Bay movies no matter how bad some are.

There could be ways around that. If it was up to me, I'd let players choose which one they want to be, and if 2 players choose the same role then it would randomly assign one of them to that role and the other guy to something else.

I wouldn't agree to it being a random choice thing; however, it's obvious if you don't partake in a position you have no interest in for the sake of being gun happy you'd miss out on a job cut, because if you're not willing to co-operate then I highly doubt the heist leader will want to share much of the winnings with you no matter how big the payoff is.

They'd need to give some sort of incentive to players to make the less attractive rolls attractive. The more experience and success you get in a particular roll, the higher your cut. The %age for each roll would have to be the same but it would give some players a bit of an incentive to take on a roll they are not too keen on, if they are keen on maxing out their stat's. Limiting the number of times a player can take on a particular roll would help.

 

How they get round the lack of teamwork between randoms is going to be interesting. Just now I was in a Trevor mission with 2 randoms. They spawn right next to one of their cars, I spawn miles away (yet again - getting fed up of this) from mine. By the time I get in my car, they're half-way to the shoot out. By the time I get there it's early over! If I get to the shoot out first, I wait for anyone who is lagging behind but I seem to be in a very small minority that does this.

It would also be cool if as preparation for the heists, you have to compete with other team members to see which guy is best at a particular role. If more guys want to be gunmen than is allowed, they would all go to the gun range and the worst one gets assigned another role. If more guys want to be the driver than is allowed, they race each other.

Well i heard different that heists will be happening any 1 remember the beta testing video? but it prob wont happen until rock* close all the loopholes with players are using glitches etc to get tons of money thats what they say have slowed them down in bringing out new content for gta story and online modes

Thank you Welshlad for posting the video. Cattafett I'm not worrying about what I do I just have a preference. I wouldn't mind everyone relying on me to give them the time they need to get in and out. Especially as not many people can do the hacking in missions in a short amount of of time.
