Horses would make one of the best features but highly unlikely. For same reason why they didn't carry over animal spawning from SP to GTAO. Still, they would increase the sandbox quality of the game 100%. Take the upcoming heists in GTAO. It would be cool to be able to

 

1. rob the bank vault

 

2. take the elevator to the helipad at the top of the skyscrapper and fly off in your heli ride then

 

3.fly towards the lumber mill at the base of Mt. Chilliad then

 

4. parachute into the lumberyard then finally

 

5. ditch your wanted level by jumping on your horse and riding off into the sunset?

 

Not a lot of police cruiser/ground traffic would be able to track you once you're on horse back. So taking care of the one other annoyance -- the choppers-- would be resolved one or two RPG launches later.

 

The only thing that would top this (my dream heist) would be riding your horse to your remote cabin hideout in the wilderness at Mt. Chilliad. Except we might end up getting horses long before R* would ever consider letting us own multiple safe house properties around the map.

 

edit: and yes--horses and the players riding them would be 100% invincible to tank fire or being run over by tanks. In fact, R* should make is so that trying to hit a player on horseback with a tank, is the same as ramming an 18 wheeler truck cab into one of those volleyball nets at the beach

There are 2 stables with over 50 horse stalls in each, a horse racing track and a horse show track.

 

AND this is the company that made the best western themed game ever.

 

Where the f*ck are the horses? If horses are patched in, I will totally think of it as fixing something they left out, not as adding something new.

There was no mention of a VTOL "Warship" in there. Only a VTOL "aircraft". Which technically, you could refer to a Helicopter as a VTOL aircraft. Yachts are already in game (Marquis can probably be classed as small yacht) and Horses probably won't ever be in MP for the same reason deer, dogs and mountain lions aren't in at the moment.

 

Also, more than likely that that was stuff that was cut from the SP game rather than stuff that will be in the next DLC pack.
