SE/CE owners - sell your hammer

I've come across a few people wanting a hammer and think as I have one, I can give them one, but no. I don't have the collectors or special editions.

 

So I've an idea for those of you that do have these editions. Set up an invite only session at a time that's been advertised here on the forums, invite people that want to buy a hammer from you to turn up with a bounty on their heads.

 

You collect the bounty and drop them a hammer in return, go get yourself a new one.

 

You could of course do the same thing for free. But I don't know if you have to purchase a new hammer or not.

The hammer sticks?

Yes. A friend dropped me one and I still have it, but pistol and shotgun don't stick.

 

As for losing the hammer after dropping it to someone else, I think you could drop it and after that sign off preventing game to beeing able to save and after loading the game again you should still have it. It should work, as it works for banking cash sometimes doesn't save when you get sign off.

anyone know what the best time to drop one is? Free roam or mission? I don't know much about dropping weapons other than not being able to do it when I'm asked or randomly dropping a Jerry can

Yeap my m8 gave me one just do it in free roam then leave session and rejoin to see if it sticks.

You'll lose weapons that you pick up except melee weapons if you switch servers. So it's possible but only for that server

excellent thank you. I'll be looking for one soon. No idea when I'll be on. I am starting my work cycle so it screws with my gta time!
