Is Rockstar adding new property to GTAO?

Just wondering if any one knows if R* are going to add new property like houses instead of apartments and some in the desert cos there is no desert apartments atm, and it would be cool if you could buy a house with a beach view up by the top of the map.

What is the chances this will happen?

Obviously they'll add new properties, the problem is just when they're gonna announce it since R* likes to be very secretive about their sh*t. I remember the dark times we were left info-less for months after the 1st trailer. Painful memories ;_;

Additional properties (mansions and such) seems like a no - brainer to me if R* wants to sell cash cards. More garages may be a cloud issue so who knows if that will happen.

I assume you didn't notice how they've now got the address on the GPS quick menu rather than just the word "home"?

 

Now why would you need to know WHICH house you're going to, hmmm? ; )

It won't be next year, more closer to 2017 and you will need to have proof of purchase of a Shark Card and own a Chrome Adder to buy that property.

I love how some of you think that Rockstar will "obviously" add more houses to buy. Why would they "obviously" add more? They could add businesses to buy, or garages. That is why there is now an address option in the GPS.

Why would I need a hotel? I already have a condo. That is what all the upscale properties are. Not apartments; condos.

Actually a few of us figured this out. Your talking about a instancing issue, which is solved by "placing it on the sidewalk in front of the property, and not directly on the property" cheers!

No, I'm talking about ten people pulling up and living in a single mansion at the same time. What part of that makes any sense at all? It works in the apartments and condos because they have multi level parking and, surprise, surprise, multi level living spaces.

This. And why would anyone bother buying a mansion if they can't access the outside areas of it (pool, garden, poolhouse etc.)? You can't instance anything properly that's no an interior.

Haha I think you are mixing me up with a GTA5 fanboy. They couldn't pay me enough money to purchase their sh*tty Shark Cards or DLC. It's bad enough people pay for DLC already locked onto the disc, let alone paying for ingame money to purchase already purchasable content that is already on the disc.
