Cars engine sound is really low

It's just me or the engine of the cars is barely hearable?, even with the radio off. I mean, if I completely mod a car, at least i want it to sound really nice, not like a Prius.

Not everything is going to have a hefty exhaust note like say the Buffalo MK 2 or something distinguishable like the Monroe or Carbonizzare.

 

It'd be neat to have exhaust kit options that actually did something other than for cosmetic appearances though (like different tones).

That's what I miss about gta IV. I played today and the cars sounded amazing along with the screeching tires

I didn't meant to say that every car should sound different, i said that cars engine are barely hearable.

I hear my cars with no issue, especially if I'm using my headset lol.

 

No idea on your audio set up.

Occasionally the sound for the engine will cut out. Usually happens just before a hard crash.

Only volume issue I get is when I go into LSC central and the mechanic's voice is really low..other than that, cars sound like they should

nope, never happened to me, but when they release a new version, some glitchs are fixed, others appear.

I had that when I entered my Sabre Turbo and went to the pause menu to select a waypoint.

Some cars do and some don't. The 3 cars the story mode characters drive all do this. I first noticed it when i got the bodhi online and turned on and it reved up twice. Maybe other cars do it but i haven't been paying attention.

all the cars in IV sounded the same! the super cars sounded like old sh*t sedans.

 

 

the cars sounds in V are a massive leap. Yes they could be a little louder, but the unique tones are long overdue. its like night and day when comparing it to GTA IV
