should rockstar allow us to unlock car mods by solo racing?

Can anyone explain why anyone needs to 'unlock' anything?

 

I mean, i did it twice because of two characters.

 

 

But common... It should just be tied to cash. Not wins...

 

 

Its simply not fair to players/racers.

They should be unlocked by leveling up, just like almost everything else in the game.

 

It's not like we unlock weapons by winning deathmatches.

I vote no, if it's solo. It's not challenging anymore, it will be bad. It's not that hard to unlock, you have to find a friend or play fair, try to win every race.

so you're saying, letting your friend win to unlock things is how it was intended..?

They could at least allow unlocking for being 1st 2nd or 3rd, or being in a top x percentile of total players in that race..

I like the ideal of placement finishes counting ...

it could be done by getting

15 1st place finishes,

25 2nd place finishes,

50 3rd place finishes

But the problem with that would be having an award system programmed in to keep track of the progress......

 

 

for anyone not wanting to race to earn the unlocks.......Maybe Rockstar will put a fast track card up for sell, where you can spend 10 bucks of real money and get the unlocks now......but i would like to see a bumper sticker added that reads "Fast Tracker" on the rear bumper for anyone who would do this..LOL

On my 4th character i had my 50 race wins by the time i was a lvl 21...

 

Sucks for the newcomers now, to have to unlock the mods class by class, but maybe that will encourage people to race classes outside of just Sports and Supers.

 

I voted No. I just wish quitters would be thrown in the Bad Sport lobbies sooner, so i can quit seeing them in my damn races( , quitting)! Idc if you have the mods or not, quit quitting you pathetic people. You are only quitting on yourself.
