Sure, as amazing it is killing as Trevor or driving as Franklin, MP just have so much more to offer me entertainment-wise - There is ALOT of missions, deathmathes etc. on the socialclub, and going for the platinum awards is tedious but fun if you ask me What? So everyone must abandon SP? I like MP, but I want to play SP too! SP has animals, a police outfit, and the blimp. The missions on MP aren't really that interesting IMO, and there are a lot of hackers on MP as well, who ruin the experience (well that explains the opportunity cost, eh Masterfocker? ). I play SP not for the gold mission rating, but for the protagonists, the side missions, and the special abilities. MP is also good, but SP also provides an excellent experience (most of the time). You can like MP, and not play SP at all, but everyone can play however they want to. It can be a balance of SP and MP (like me). Not playing online at all (Like Militia, a good member, mind you) Or playing only online (like those guys who only post in the online forum). GTA V is a great game, and different people experience it how they want to. That is the freedom that should be in GTA, and it is partially there, but it can be improved. It's the main reason why I decided not to pursue that career path. Yeah a lot of people don't understand how annoying it is unless they have tried themselves, anyway it is still early days and GTA V has a massive lifespan ahead of it, but like you said - if they leave it too late like with GTA IV it will sell bad, new games will take over especially with the release of the next gen (which seems to be failing right now lol) I remember making a change calculator once. Pretty simple, but pretty complex at the same time. Anyway, I accidentally capitalized a letter. Something like 'Change' instead of 'change'. That one single error made it so nothing worked. That online is just a waste of time and doesn't work for me. Single player is just R*s red headed step child because they only care about the online and cash cards. Only 20%?It's actually 2/3rd's, the 1/3 are clothing, that's it. And Jesus, it's still free, stop f*cking complaining, I would understand if that was paid... I gotta say those vehicles are actually pretty awesome, they're highly modifiable. Also, there are 2 teams working on this, stop blaming the Online team for being more active. And keep in mind that we can still easily get the Roosevelt and the Gusenberg sweeper. They were removed from GTA O. We will most likely see cool SP content soon, just f*cking wait. If you want Rockstar to stop making free DLC's, let it be, let's f*cking pay for that now! Hooray! Just clothing?? WRONG! Also just clothing is putting it lightly, a mother f*cking over flowing truck load of clothing would be more like it. The clothes are not even the half of it. What about the tatts, masks, haircuts, and extra interiors to go inside? It all adds up and its a little more than just a few shirts. Don't give me this two team sh*t either, that's what irresponsible failures of companies do to constantly shift blame to others, just like governments. I'm not blaming the online team for doing their jobs, I'm blaming the higher ups that are trying to play favorites on this bland disguise of an online mode to make way for micro transactions. I like my free sh*t and ever expanding arsenal, but i'm still not just going to sit back eating a single chicken wing while R* throws 6 whole f*cking chickens at online. Both would definitely be of better quality if they were their own stand alone, They are crammed in to one and holding each other back. GTAO should have been its own thing and came second late 2014 or way after GTAV got its shine. They prob could have charged full 60 dollar price if it was just straight online, no story, but had LC, LS and maybe VC or a smaller more exclusive map or islands. Go big or go home. The way R* has this, Its like having your cake, fork and eating it, but your lactose intolerent and its made with milk, and the cake is expired, or having nothing but your glasses and a book, but your glasses are the wrong prescription and the book is the bible. Neither can be good because the other sucks and messes it all up either way. Anyways don't worry guyz, the dragons, pizzas, heists will be here verry soon, its gonna be way awsome, promise. I wouldn't care if they did, I don't think online would be much better than it really is now, but less buggy and balanced at least and structured. Sometimes I wish I was an engineer/programmer, so I could literally delete the entire Online part from my disc so SP would run better as the 8+ GB is probably being utilized by this piece of worthless sh*t called Online that I never touched and NEVER will. Such a waste of space. Think if there wasn't Online. SP would be 10000x better as then BOTH teams could work on SP only and quit obsessing over their money-hording Online bullsh*t. Che Guevara_187 Posted March 8, 2014 Share Posted March 8, 2014 Hey guys, you know I love DLC as everybody should, especially free ones, but all we have been given are the same basic stuff e.g. A few cars, some guns, new clothes, masks etc, I don't have a problem with them and i'm glad Rockstar finally added new car horns, tire smoke colours and stuff, but where is the content we want? New single player DLC's? Nope. New assassination missions we have heard so much about? Nope. It's not that ideal that all DLC's have been mainly focused for online, which most people gave up playing ages ago, but hey, a new DLC is better then none at all. Just wish we had more. cattafett Posted March 8, 2014 Share Posted March 8, 2014 the way i see it is although R* made their name with SP they see the future as MP and we are the (un-payed) testers of their new game type even though i still play San Andreas from time to time (vigilante level 300) MP will have a longer play time with less work/effort on their part once the bugs are sorted out so of course they will keep feeding us small tit-bits to keep us playing (testing) my only hope is when they bring out the big SP dlc it will be merged with the main game unlike the two that came with IV as in niko be able to use the guns,cars and other stuff from the dlcs and if you had both dlcs Luis would be able to use the stuff from the tLaD dlc and vice versa but then i come from the generation of gamers that thought that the add on of gta london was amazing and patches were sent out (in the rare cases that needed them) in the post Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Rockstar is going to put multi player into their next game and so on like every other good game company who says"screw story mode". There are still enough of us around that grew up paying for full, working games in a cartridge and/or a disc and feel f'd up when this happens. But there are lots of new kids now that are growing up with half-assed games that need 518927591284 patches to properly work, has stuff cut/blocked in order to make easy cash and is focused on a MP mode for players to hack, troll and ruin. My point being: GTA, sadly, is crossing the barrier - from that first generation to the second one. And the whole gaming industry is doing it too, really, it's not only Rockstar. I actually think that Rockstar took some sweet time doing great stuff while others were already jumping on the "new industry bandwagon". And those of you who think that this free stuff won't generate money in the future are naive. This is just a way to incentivize players to download and get used with it. Then, when the right time comes, they'll be willing to pay. Other companies do the same from time to time (though there may not be a need anymore as people are already used to throwing money in the trash can, I mean, for "add-ons"). That's why you get such things as a new weapon and/or a vehicle for free but not a full SP DLC. Throw in a few freebies now and you'll get some loyal followers in the future. It's a shame. Oh well, I can always go back to previous "universes" of GTA (minus SA, which I hated). Long live Claude Speed and Tommy Vercetti.
