I effin hate people who have tanks online and sit right outside LS customs and wait for oh I come out an then blow you up, seriously the lowest, lamest way to kill someone. Then not only are you dead and maybe loose some money, YOU have to pay for your ride back, unlike people who drive by sticky your car, then they have to pay for it but with tanks you have to unless they target right on you which usually never happens, they shoot the ground which causes and explosion which blows you up. IF YOU ARE LIKE THIS I HATE YOU!! Put up a real fight

I hate that you can't turn/lean while doing wheelies like in IV. It made motorcycles MUCH more fun to ride in groups.

The rain. I get roads become a bit slick when they are wet, but it shouldn't be like driving on a feakin ice rink. Even my Sandking struggles when it rains. Then when trying to do a mission (ex. RR), and all the NPC's, SUV's chasing you can go at top speed, perfect handling while I'm sliding all over the place. Also the cops seem to have some kind of super tires too, since they are easily able to catch up to me climbing a mountain while my Sandking spins out.

All of the above. But most of all are spawn killers. People at level 90+ who have nothing better to do than camp outside your garage or apartment to murder you as many times as they can, completely unprevoked. It's one thing to go after someone your own level or higher, but picking on people level 50 and under is just despicable. Spawncampers are scum.

Well since everyone said what I wanted to say (The people/community) I will say I don't like the aiming it feels so stiff and clunky. It feels like be fast or be dead and I hate the body armor is made of graham crackers, dry wall and loose leaf paper and I wish It would be buffed hard.

I really miss interacting with NPCs like in GTA IV. The AI was tits and the world felt alive and responsive to what you were doing. Now NPC's can't even pull out their phone to call the police, and the police..? They just appear out of nowhere and disappear just as fast.

 

It makes me wish GTA Online came with 4, not 5.

Where do I begin?

 

• Insurance: Insurance is very annoying. Why do you have to pay for a vehicle when it's destroyed? Why can't it just respawn in your garage after a certain amount of time if it has an insurance plan? This is also frustrating when somebody in an Entity or other expensive vehicle is unable to be killed using explosives unless you want to drain your cash (of course this is most prominent when you have less than $150,000).
• Bad Sport system: So people that run you when you're in Passive Mode and such aren't Bad Sports, yet destroying somebody's PV is always considered griefing? Wow. Let's put this in perspective. Mr. Arse comes and runs me over whilst I'm in Passive multiple times, so I disable it, get my weapon, and shoot at him, eventually destroying his car in the process and paying his insurance, yet I'm the griefer.
• Unsafe Passive Mode: You're still prone to getting run over, being killed when you're driving, etc. Yeah... really safe, right?
• Annoying wanted levels: I stealth killed two secluded NPCs in stealth mode (I never use it, but I'd like to try raising its skill bar). One of them notices me when I killed his friend, but I killed him right after (still in stealth mode). Then, after a couple of seconds, I have a wanted level. Okay, so apparently he had enough time to pull out his cell, dial the police station, notify the operator of his emergency, and get the cops on my ass, all in an instant. Or maybe the invisible witness called the cops. Or maybe the cops are psychic. Or maybe... no, maybe it shouldn't of given me a wanted level. I also don't understand how doing something like touching a pedestrian can immediately get you some stars. Why is it instantaneous?!
• The police are a f*cking nuisance: Kind of ties in to the previous point. They often magically know where to search if you're hiding, spawn in front of you when you're fleeing from the cops behind you, get on your case all the time, and more. Now, this may seem a little contradictory at first, but listen. Why don't cops patrol? When was the last time you saw a police cruiser just driving around, excluding chasing a criminal or having given up a chase? What? You haven't? Neither have I. Kind of weird never seeing them. If the police cruised around more often, it might be able to balance the wanted level system a little better. Committing a crime in front of an officer will get you an immediate wanted level, but if there's none in sight, wanted levels will take longer to place, and if you've left the scene, you just avoided it. The video somebody linked earlier covered some good points about the GTA V police (and others).
• Outrageous in-game prices and difficulty to make money: "Sweet, I just unlocked the suppressor for m- wait... it's twelve grand? But I just spent the last hour making that money!" Many missions have an insufficient payout and money is way too easy to burn though. Why is the Jaws theme suddenly playing?
• Idiots in the community: Oh, so you have a mic? Could you also let me in on how to be cool when you blow into your mic and swear every other word? I'm also so envious of the nine year old screamers' maturity! Why couldn't I have been like them? *coughs* I almost had to get my inhaler because of my BS allergy. Next, why do people like to cause grief to others? I'm sure killing me when I'm completely minding my own business gave you that exciting rush of superiority. Don't worry, Billy will be waiting in the exact same spot tomorrow to take your lunch money.
• Bugs/glitches: The glitches can be very frustrating. Notable mentions are the freezing and sudden despawning of cars.
• Spawns: I kill some dude, then he spawns right behind me, or you spawn right in the line of sight of your killer.

I may of given the impression that I hate GTA:O, but that's not the case. There are of course many things that I also like about it, and the good outweighs the bad.

That no matter what deathmatch I join, 'Forced and/or Pickups only' is enabled. For f*ck sake, what's wrong with people? What's wrong in using your own weapons for a fight?

oh ye auto aim that locks onto cops more than it does on another player, was trying to escape with my bounty and it didn't let me shot the other player, it kept auto aiming at the police and he killed me

how should I know if it is personal or not? Players kill other players even if they don't have a bounty.

If you have a bounty on you and someone kills you then drives off; Never trying to kill you again. It wasnt personal.

This is very true,although I will try to kill the bounty hunter ONCE in payback - nothing personal!

I was really shocked the other day when some french guy claimed my bounty then gave me half! I didn't kill him lol!

A bit later in the same lobby he was being repeatedly killed by the same player so I gave him a bit of assistance til the griefer decided to find an easier target.

It's not often you buddy up with your bounty hunter! Lol

Limited character customization, both physical features and minimal variety in clothes.

LOAD TIMES!

Restriction of weapons.

Non-optional Simeon vehicles.

Randomized "friend" phone calls. "LEMMIE KNOW IF YOU EVER WANNA DO A BOUNTY K LOL"

Impounding.

Retrieving impounded vehicles.

"Bad Sport" system.

Tanks not having to pay premiums.

The handling of passive mode.

Auto-aim always enabled.

People only joining races if they can use their fully upgraded personal vehicle.

 

And dear God, the worst of all...

Civilian-placed bounties.

Everything he said ^ except for weapons limitations - I love getting new stuff when I level up, it's part of why I still play. :-)

Online matchmaking is very poor.

 

For example, I would like to be able to search for a race with catchup off, custom cars on, slipstream either, non gta race, and non offroad.

 

Or... search for a deathmatch with free aim on, and forced pickup off.

 

Due to the sheer volume of gta players, even with all these parameters set, I believeh there could always be quick jobs available that fit your preferences.

Honestly I hate the tanks. I've never seen one be used constructively, always just to kill anyone and everyone.

 

It's not even about the inability to have one, as I am sitting on 5 mil + at level 125 I just choose not to have one. Sure I could do a private session with my buddies, but half the fun of this game is the encounters with randoms... until the fearful tank comes hurtling in your direction.

 

I do get that a tank is meant to be powerful, but some sort of limitation to it would be most welcomed, maybe an expensive call in price, or weaker armor from the back with stickies and RPG's?

 

Certainly not against removal altogether either, with a full refund to those who own one.

GTA V was actually decent. I would have liked to see more animals and more activities from SA, tho. Particularly drivable trains, tagging and more character customization options(um, hair for one).

 

GTAO on the other hand has been a let down from the start. It's not just the fact the majority of the community is complete low life jerks. It's so many things. Sure cops are annoyingly OP, but so are they IRL and I'm ok with that. I like posting up in a area and slaughtering pigs. The never ending/ instant spawning choppers get old fast. But that's not my real complaint. The dead atmosphere is to start. No animals, less dynamic props, less peds, lack of vehicle variety, etc. As well as the sh*tty character creator. How R* over hyped (borderline lied about) Online. How they mishandle every issue. Like I could care less about heists because I know they will be a let down. But they were supposed to be released with online. They said they will continuously develop new content so DLC, no matter how trivial or extravagant, paid or free should be released every month to keep the game fresh. I could go on forever.

 

This game "had" so much potential, but I feel it's to late to redeem it. Almost everyone I know asks me why I still play it and it's really just a few close friends and helping complete strangers by bringing them in cars and helping them level up that keeps me here.
