Missions that unnecessarily require 2 or more players.

 

Customization being controlled by one's rank, especially when one must repeatedly grind through missions to unlock some damn shoes.

 

The entire character customization system. Who though this was good idea?

 

Regardless of whether or not you bought them, being unable to accept that Rockstar has adjusted gameplay (increase of prices from SP to MP, 24 hour in-game waiting period for selling cars, etc.) to make shark cards desirable to a lot of players.

 

The fact that a lot of the clothing options that were included with recent Business Update should've been in the game from the start.

In general, if you're a die-hard GTA fan from past glories then you are pissed at the direction R* has taken with GTA V. Period.

 

It's quantity and not quality.

Hell I kill pretty much anyone that comes near me because I think... know that they would try to kill me, and God help them if they blow up my car and don't pay for it, I have my sig for a reason.

I noticed that some of the NPC enemies have fast fire rates on their guns... I got jumped by a "professional" and his SMG looked like it shot as fast as a minigun. I died too quick to react and when he shot that gun, the muzzle flash was a continuous flash of light.

 

C'mon man... R* really needs to tone down the A.I in this game. It's unfair of how they retain their accuracy in Free-Aim.

The blip situation. I have to pause the game and open the map to see who is who.

And when you choose to highlight a player, other blips begin flashing, making your highlight worthless.

And the player whose blip you highlighted stops flashing when they die and sometimes just because.

It makes revenge way more difficult than it should be. I've killed tons of innocent players, thinking I was killing someone who deserved it. It's a mess.

The police. It's fine to have them, but when the idea is to run away and they suddenly spawn in front of you, it's just sh*t. Not to mention getting a wanted level when they crash into you.

Tanks. Having tanks not pay insurance is simply moronic - they destroyed it, they pay for it. Also R* reversed the only rational decision they made in the last update by making them accessible to lower levels again.

No costs when at zero money. I don't know about you, but I've never been at exactly zero money since I started, at my lowest I've had a couple of hundred. I get that R* don't want to financially cripple lower levels, but there are a lot more trolls around.

What I don't like is not being able to have multiple properties. Also, not being any houses or 10 car garages in Blaine County. Every free mode session I join, everyone will be in the city and always one or two people out in Blaine County. 32 player free roam wouldn't be too bad either, it's such a big map but it feels empty most of the time. Even with a full lobby.

 

Yeah the police too, I don't mind them being psychic and knowing where you are even if you're out of their line of sight. But if I shoot someone on top of Mount Chilliad, with seconds they're alerted. They shouldn't be alerted that quick if at all, especially if no one else is up there to witness.

There's a lot of things I dislike.
-The police and not being able to turn them off in GTA Online's free mode like in GTA IV where you could customize the free mode lobby to your liking.
-The awful selection of music on the radio. LSRR is the worst mainstream rock station in any GTA game I've played.
-An incredibly weak story that had you working for the FIB for a large chunk of the game.
-Online heists still not being in the game.
-All the hacks and mods that took Rockstar ages to fix.
-The way the game tries to make you not kill people in free mode, if you kill a player you'll nearly always get the cops on you and the whole bad sport thing, just make the person's car spawn back in the garage if someone blows it up, and then there's not much of a problem since they can just go back to their garage and get a new car.
-The terrible maps Rockstar picks for Rockstar Verified
-The matchmaking system that doesn't let you pick what sort of death match or race you want, so if you're specifically looking for a certain type, you might have to leave and rejoin a couple times.
-The character creator.
-The ability to reveal all players in a DM for 500$, FFS Rockstar, don't enable the tryhards who'll do any cheap sh*t to win.
-All the stupid Battlefield and Call of Duty-esque maps in death matches. There's even a "Nuketown" map that is nothing like Nuketown but got called Nuketown just because it's a cul-de-sac.
-Only 3 interiors for the apartments Online.
-Not being able to have more than one apartment or even an apartment and a garage or garages. You seriously can only have one apartment or one garage. Da f*ck?


Before anyone starts to think I hate the game, I don't. It's certainly not the best in the series, GoTY worthy or a perfect 10/10 game, but it's still good. Just not a great game like everyone wanted it to be.

The huge world that Rockstar created with just a handful of interiors. Wouldn't it be cool if there were a thousand little places that be walked into.. unmarked on the map. I'd love to just walk in on a family watching television or catch someone in the shower, or maybe just a simple inventory room that that's full of P&Qs for pickup.

 

It's such a simple idea that would add so much to the game. It's a giant world but it has kind of an empty feeling to it. I would be extremely happy with changes like this.

Gta online is a masterpiece of gaming standards, to think about what Rockstar have created, on a console of its age and standard, is nothing short of amazing. That being said, It is sunstantially flawed though.

 

The inherently flawed bad sport system which actually fails to identify badsport behaviour, and as such punishes people who have done nothing wrong is a constant annoyance and by far the absolutely worst thing I dislike about gta online.

 

That and the lack of Heists, which I understand the reason for, but am still annoyed about.

The bad sports system, you should still be able to play with crew members & friends, plus they're rarely full so i stay out now. Joining a job & getting kicked because the person doesn't know how to host a closed lobby. People reporting you because they are getting killed but can't kill you even when they brought it on themselves. The hosting system.

— Game design and rules that encouraging cheating

 

I'm not pointing out things like impounding car, almighty police because it's possible to survive and get over. But those things...

NPC bounties easily. I can steal a carbonizzare and drive off with nothing, steal a blista and drive off with a 9k bounty
