FatalPhantomAce
Some of the most stupid topics in the world get 1,000 views or more almost instantly, yet a legitimate suggestions that requires feedback from the community and not a crap is given? 450 views and only 14 comments, most repeats. I've seen topics with 100 views and 18 comments. Why is it so stupidly hard to get a topic to be viewed by the entire community when droves of crap threads and garbage are spewed onto legitimate ideas. A subforum is completely required for community suggestions to receive feedback. Otherwise what is the point of anyone suggesting anything ever; why not just send every single one of our ideas to rockstar and see how long it takes for them to sort through them already. The entire point of making a suggestion is to get general feedback. It is worth my time sending this to rockstar when no one really wants it ? It it worth a chance when I get alot of positive feedback ? It would help filter out the serious from the silly, and would allow people to get their ideas out more thoroughly. Leave all of the random, silly, and other topics that don't fall under a specific category continue to make the bulk of the regular site, but allow the suggestions to have a specific place to be read by those willing to make them. Extremely common, or popular suggestions could be pinned to the top of the subforum if made. The content creator section has an area specifically for the creator suggestions, but one does not exist for the main forum bulk.
Vanzant
If a legitimate suggestion is posted and doesn't receive feedback, this is because no one who saw this suggestion cared for it. You cannot simply demand people to agree with something. That's not how it works on this forum or any forum. As for making a subforum for suggestions strictly for RockStar games, well no, we don't have one and we probably never will. We have "wish list" threads. RockStar isn't taking requests on their own website therefore it's redundant to shout out to them here.
FatalPhantomAce
If a legitimate suggestion is posted and doesn't receive feedback, this is because no one who saw this suggestion cared for it. [1]You cannot simply demand people to agree with something. That's not how it works on this forum or any forum. As for making a subforum for suggestions strictly for RockStar games, well no, we don't have one and we probably never will. We have "wish list, suggestion" threads. RockStar isn't taking requests on their own website therefore it's redundant to shout out to them here. Did I ever say that I demand absolute compliance ? [1]No, that would be the absolute main reason for feedback. I simply requested that these threads have a designated place for anyone wanting to view their purpose. People have complained and Rockstar has answered many of those. Targeting friends and Vehicle Occupants for one. Feedback is one way for people to compile their thoughts into a single place. The content creator subforum has a suggestions/wishlist subject. Why would it be so much more difficult to simply incorporate one for all base games who are in their current prime and development. What harm would it cause to separate Suggestions/Content requesting feedback from the randomness? A wishlist and suggestion thread is exactly the same thing. Also, when submitting a request, the same way to report a bug/issue, to rockstar, notice the ability to select Feedback/Suggestion/Feature Request in the Issue box. All the same as sending an e-mail or mass spam onto the support site, it is still a legitimate way to request something. When I come to these forums, not only do I want to see all of the wacky and funny things people are doing, but also what they want for the game; what they desire to be added, augmented, and/or removed. I want to see not only their aspect of the game but also where it should go. As of right now, I have to scroll through a page and a half of threads that get locked simply because of their stupidity; a main reason why the people who viewed the threads did not comment, is because they gave no dams and clicked away instantly. Give a day or two and anyone wanting to look for legitimate threads will have to rely on the search function or have to scroll through all of the crap to view them. Didn't find anything ? Oh well, would be a horrible shame if they were all compiled into a singular place with less randomness and functionality.
