That way you don't have stupid NPCs swere into your lane without warning.

What for? NPC's will still ram into you because R* wants to annoy the f*ck out of gamers. Also, don't blame the NPC's, blame R* programming.

I think it would be a really change of pace. This is GTA and while I do understand it is your choice to commit crimes but you're definitely encouraged to break the law in this game. BUT I don't think it would hurt the game to add them. It would certainly decrease chances of getting rear ended when following a friend somewhere and he wouldn't have to call out his turns.
