We need blinkers in cars!

What do you think? It would be awesome (car meets) and much more realistic.

I noticed traffic uses them

Then GTA would be sued for stealing the ideas for Snob Simulator 2014

I agree. I don't see why NPCs use them but we can't. And I'm sure the could be worked into the controls easily enough.

The NPC's should use indicators like in GTA4 - it would give us a heads up before they change lane and f**k us up.

If you were driving at the speed limit then yes, but most people drive like maniacs, therefore you're making turns like it's nothing, who would even see your blinker on? The NPCs? When you're going like 100 mph? I too contemplated this, but I finally concluded that I probably would actually forget to use them, this seems about as pointless as stopping at every red light, everyone seems to run those don't they? Why would people also have to trigger their blinkers at every single turn? And like I said at the speed most go, how long would the blinker even need to stay on? If we're asking for cosmetic things like this that add nothing, give me my car interior POV, I want to be able to see my character's hands on the steering wheel, as well as my windshield, dashboard, radio, and gauges. To me that seems something I can really utilize.

What's the point unless you driving if you don't drive normally? If you want a game with blinkers go play TDU2.

If the npc's use them, then why do they always turn into me while I go past them? I could see the blinkers in GTA 4.

D-pad, L,R

If I recall, one controls the radio, and the other controls headlights/highbeams/convertible roofs.

Maybe if you double pressed the left and right bumpers, I know those two are for in-vehicle shooting, but double pressing might separate it from firing your weapon to activating your vehicle's turn signals, similar to how simply pressing R once will toggle your headlights, but holding it will pull out your convertible's roof.

NPCs use them? Umm... When? Usually they pull this maneuver on me; slowly start merging into the right lane and as I approach, looking to pass on the left side as clearly they are merging right, they abrubtly stop merging right and go a lane and a half to the left at the perfect moment where I am too comitted in my pass and have no choice but to slam into them doing 80 mph. Why!? WHY'D YOU LET ME HIT YOU DOING 80!?

No one would use them

even in car meets? cmon it would be awesome

Well I am certainly not one to argue against people who want trivial/cosmetic features for RP purposes as I am avid fan of such aspects of games. If some people would use them, then I won't play the majority vs. minority card like some do. But there's no arguing if no players are in your vicinity, would you really use your turn signals unless you get satisfaction with playing as the law abiding citizen :)

Honestly the only way I see that this could be implemented intoo the game is if it's used when you set a GPS Waypoint on the map or from interaction and that would be the only time it would work... When you approach a turn coming up that's on the waypoint directing you to turn that way
