GlacierIsland
I've been trying for 5 months now to get enough race wins to unlock the mods at Los Santos Customs. Every freaking time I join/host a race I lose. People ram me off the track or accelerate off the starting block like their car weighs 0 pounds. The last time I won a race with my custom Adder was last year. I've only ever won 3 races, mostly because people treat it like a destruction derby. Is there an alternative? Can I bribe a rockstar employee to unlock the win-based mods? Probably not, but that's what's going through my head right now.
TotalFacade
Instead of posting in the already created racing complaint threads, you chose to make another one. Great job. Edited March 7, 2014 by TotalFacade
numpy
It should be how many races you complete not win.

I'm sure you would then have other players who would help you win races. I think the system should remain as it is, as its a reward for driving skill. coelacanth72
Host races with catch-up turned off. If that doesn't work stop racing.
T-Roc
It should be how many races you complete not win. I agree with this completely. It may have been fine when GTAO first came out as it would be even throughout the field, but how is someone going to compete with fully modded cars when they are driving stock. I have everything unlocked so it doesn't affect me, but it would be fair to have the items available either by leveling up, or races completed. Since it is what it is, find another player new to racing and trade wins with him; shallow tactic I know, but it beats the hell out of taking time to do races and feel like trash when you come in 2nd; I've been there. One can have excellent skill and place 2nd in a race with fully modded cars, if they have a stock car and all others have modded ones that should equate to like 3 wins IMO.
