Wearing hat on motorcycle option...

Every time I set my hat to stay on when on a motorcycle from in my inventory quick menu it remembers until I swap vehicles. Am I doing something wrong or is this a known glitch? Thanks.

I think it is just a coding error. I keep my set hat until I either get in a car with a roof, topless Coquette doesn't take off your hat or until I do a motorcycle race which makes you wear a helmet.
