Wow I was just shot and killed by a gunman waiting in a corner of my garage, then I re-spawned across the map ..

I didn't know we could do garage hits now...

Yeah, someone tried this on me but it didn't work as I was in passive mode when I had drove into my garage. hehehehe

Yea street, I came down to my garage and as soon as the door opened I started to take fire and was like WTF.

Then I noticed right before I died that there was a player sitting in the corner blasting away with his weapon.. Surprised me for sure..

it's not even a hack, just a simple cheat anyone can do. sweet... It was there before 1.11 too, I assumed they would fix it, but no.

 

for now, I start each session as invite only, go passive, then switch to a public lobby. If someone is there, just walk out and call for a car instead of getting in it in the garage.

 

don't worry though, when it is patched there will be a new way to troll within hours

funny i go into my garage quite a bit and never get killed. is this more prolific on Ps3 or Xbox I am on xbox and have yet to have been killed in my garage

I had this happen to me last night for the first time. Soon as I entered BLAM ! to the head. Guy was hiding in the left of my garage. To be honest it sh*t the life outta me as I wasn't expecting it. I AM NOW ...........

Xbox and first time for me to be killed. I have seen folks before in my garage al glitchy like then they would disappear.

This happened to me a couple of days ago. The tool in my garage shot me twice and stopped. I guess he was just seeing if it worked. I had read about this glitch so I knew what was happening. At least he didn't kill me I guess

They can't walk around they can only shoot, I have a feeling they can be in everyone's garage at once. I was in passive mode yesterday, he tried shooting me with no success, then he kept hurling grenades by the elevator. I live in a 10 car garage, not apt. So I have a feeling if there is one in yours or anyone's session, that person can see everyone in their garages simultaneously.

My only concern is if they blow up my cars who pays insurance? And if you watch the garage cam from your apartment TV can you see them standing in the corner?

they can't see your cars doing this glitch so nothing gets destroyed.

Some of my fellow crew members have reported the same! Someone's glitching into people's apartment/garage and then killing them.

Happened to me a couple times, and from time to time I catch myself ducking behind cars cause I think somebody's there lol.

Yes the 10 car garage is only one location in the game. Remember how saint marks bistro in gta sa was an interior in the exterior world above the garage in Dougherty. Same with 10 car garages. Since they are identical all 10 car garages are really just the same interior. It just spawns the cars different for each player. Ever seen random cars in your garage. This is why that happens
