ive activated the special ability in the first mission but i still havent got the objective completed yet wtf it was like more than 10 seconds and i only got 5?????????????????????

Try activating as often as possible - Firstly, at the start of the mission when the text comes up saying you can activate the special ability, activate it and use the whole bar. Then later, when the bar gradually fills up again, do the same again (activate it and use whatever is there). This way, you should easily go over the required number of seconds.
