1.11 freezing?

My game has been freezing since day one, it has been freezing badly since 1.11. Today just after starting it up and being online for maybe 30 minutes it completely freezes (can't press anything, audio starts looping)

I had to pull the plug, now I cant get past the first loading screen. I had a feeling this game would destroy my ps3 eventually. Case and point why those money hungry f*cks should have released this for PS4 and the X1. Now I have to hand out another $99 for repairs.

Admittedly, didn't play much before 1.11, but this happened for the first time, yesterday - playing Maze Bank Survival with 2 other friends, and it froze for ALL of us, not just one of three. Chat was still working, but nothing else.

Have you tried other games on your'e ps3?

Iv'e read on other forums this is happening with this game but they can play others ok.

You might just save yourself $99

I guess we're all at Rockstar's mercy waiting yet again for a ANOTHER patch!!

:panic:

Freezing has become a very annoying problem after 1.11 patch.6 of 10 times I join a session, the game freezes in first 10 seconds.More problems come with new patches.before this patch, console didn't freeze this much.

I'm on xbl and last night it just would not stop freezing. Today I booted up my console, cleared the cache, and deleted the title update. Since doing so I haven't had any problems today.

I thought it was just me. I was this close to smashing my gta 5 disc and buying a new one. Rockstar needs to fix this, cuz this is the reasons we don't have heists yet.

Dont smash your gta 5 disc, Im using play-disc installed on USB stick and also have this freezeing. It's freeze for 100% when I use the CCTV in the garage.

Well it isn't my systems cache or anything because I got a new ps3 today and online has froze 3 times already. It's something to do with the latest patch everything prior to 1.11 was fine.

I'd happily give back 1.11 for 1.10 and no freezing.

Just been frozen three times in 20 mins...I'm surprised I haven't rage quit yet.

I just got out of badsport and am enjoying my time with the general population :D

This has been happening to me after 1.11. Every single time I go on GTA 5 (online/offline) it freezes about 10 seconds after I exit my garage or it just freezes at random points. I restored my system completely and am currently re-downloading GTA 5. I won't know if it worked until it's done. I'll tell you if it worked when I am able to play again.

I though my ps3 was going to s***, but after playing different games and popping the gta 5 disc back in the game still freezes. So it's not my console and my conclusion it's the recent 1.11 update.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one not experiencing this

UnicornAssassin

Before patch 1.11 was released, my PS3 had frozen a total of three times in its entire life (all three times were whilst playing GTA Online). Since patch 1.11 was released, my PS3 freezes every single time I play GTA Online. I'm just going to forget about this game until I hear of this problem being fixed, because it's a total pain in the ass at the moment.

Not its lots of people experiencing the freezing issue since 1.11 me and my friends as-well, yet rock-star completely ignores us and says its are consoles, battle field all over again what a shame i was really enjoying the gta online to until this happened.
