No longer able to open the Titan's back?

Usually when I punch the door, it opens. This time, I kept punching it, in the middle, on the sides, even with a baseball bat, but the door wouldn't open.

In fact, the titan exploded, but the door never opened.

 

Did Rockstar patch this, did I oversee this in the patch notes, or is this something that was overlooked but still patched?

Never took out my gun as I was trying whatever I could to open the back.

 

My 91/100 strength may have given me superwoman powers but I'm pretty sure the physics just didn't made sense.

Don't worry, i tried it yesterday & the exact same happened. It didn't work at all & then the Titan just exploded. Baseball-Bat > Barrett Sniper

I tried to open the back of a mule a few weeks back and couldn't do it, so maybe they changed something with it.

 

But then accidentally glitched into one when I was standing on it while the NPC driver was trying to escape an angry dude in a buzzard. The doors opened fine from inside.

 

So I have no idea.

If I have been punching it till it exploded, I'm pretty sure it wasn't just me, but the door itself. Because I tried at every angle, several times.

I didn't always succeed either but I never ever had to punch for that long till it exploded.

My friends and I experienced this last night. We started in Sandy Shores when one spawned randomly. Three of us took turns trying to punch it open, but nothing but a fireball (killing us all, heh). Intrigued and annoyed, we hit up the LSX spawn to the same end. I called Pegasus for one to be delivered (thanks modder money) and tried ramming it open (Granger, Turismo, and a stolen LSPD cruiser). Nothing.

 

What they should do is allow us to open/close the back via the D-pad (much like convertible tops on cars). If I can't use a transport plane to transport things, its just a slow, poor handling, waste of memory.

Deleted my patches and I'm gonna test this out because I have nothing better to do today.

 

Will post my findings here. If R* really removed something like this that would be retarded.

its been patched. the no fun police put an end to it.

 

things that are buggy since last patch

 

punching the back of a helicopter will make it explode.

shooting out the windows on a car will make it explode.

using the camera to launch missiles from a friends buzzard and then quickly backing out of the camera will cause the missile to appear behind you and make the buzzard explode.

Yeah I can't open the titan and a few dozen hits cause it's engines to catch on fire. Same with the cargobob.

 

Clearly this was a bigger exploit than the SP to MP glitch or tank insurance nonsense.
