I once did a highway race around the entire map, and the guy in first place happened to have a HUGE lead. This other guy and I slipstreamed each other back and forth to catch up to him. (when everybody trade wins at criminal records) I've heard that with the last patch catch up is off after the last checkpoint, maybe slipstream to? Yeah that's exactly why I hate slipstreams and am glad they provided the option to take them off in races along with catchup. They're still available for those who enjoy it, which is good, but I can't stand it when I dodge the chaos, pull out to a good lead, only to have my top speed limited by catchup and others flying to catchup because of slipstream.
