Most boring mission?

Recommended Posts

Nearly all of the FIB and government agent missions, and that yoga crap.

Really? Even The Monkey Business, I Fought The Law..., Pack man, Dead Man Walking, The Paleto Score, Bearue Raid and The Wrap Up?

Bad story does not equal bad missions.

Please just don't, is his opinion, if he doesn't like, he doesn't like it. I for one don't agree but what can I do. Nothing.

Opinions can be discussed. That's the idea of a forum. *facepalm*

All of the Pulling Favors missions and Scouting the Port.

Did Somebody Say Yoga? is boring, but not nearly long enough for me to get upset about.

And I'm weird and like the heist setups :/ (to be fair, though, I feel that you should have been able to hire them out to the drivers for a bump in cut)

I said nearly all of the FIB/government stuff missions, not all of them. I'd like to believe you can read properly. The Paleto Bay score was alright, I liked that, but again it was nothing special, not to mention we did not get paid much for that.

Bad story does not always equal bad missions, but in my view that's how it's generally worked out for me in GTA. If I don't like a part of the story and find it boring, uninteresting, or unrealistic, then I tend not to enjoy the relevant missions that much - and more often than not, I also find playing the same missions boring too. Not all the time, but in most cases.

Thankfully, before the arrival of GTA V, the storylines of all the GTAs from GTA III onward were generally all very good with some slightly better than others. V's story is not even classed as just being good in my books, it was weak - most of it was uninteresting, poorly structured, and kind of boring.

I thought all the main story missions were good - the only boring one side mission, which stands out by a country mile, is "Exercising the Truth". Fortunately, you can always tape the left analogue stick down and go and have lunch whilst Michael completes it by walking in circles ;)

Excercising The Truth and Assuming The Truth (deliver cars) were quite boring too.

It's very understandable to see why you don't like them, but I can't say the missions were bad, remember this is a game not reality. You take it for what it is not for what you want it to be and just by the simple fact that only one man beats like an army of 50 men by himself is unrealistic, this happens in every GTA, not just GTA 5. If you find it boring or uninteresting for plot is up to you.

My point of view has nothing to do with differentiating between a game and reality. I don't know how you even managed to relate that to my previous comment. All I said was that if I don't like a part of the story in a GTA game, I tend not to really enjoy playing the missions for that said part of the story, end of and nothing else to it. What the f*ck has that got to do with reality bro ?

I said nothing about having a problem with one-army styled missions in GTA, again I don't know where you got that from. I took the missions in GTA V for what they were, and my verdict is that the FIB/government agent missions were not very exciting or interesting to me going GTA standards, and neither was that part of the story. For most part, I found it all quite boring. It's as simple as that, I don't need any convincing from anyone to make me think otherwise. That's the reality of my opinion.

Dude, III's and SA's stories are mucho mucho worse:

III - Girlfriend betrays Claude. Claude does some jobs for random people because f*ck you it's GTA. Claude kills Catalina. Claude gets money and f*cks bitches.

San Andreas - Carl goes back to the hood. Does some hood jobs. Appears in the middle of the forest after brother goes to jail. Does some jobs for some crazy bitch because f*ck you it's GTA. Does some races with some vato because f*ck you it's GTA. Gets a garage and does sh*t with it because f*ck you it's GTA. Does some jobs for a crazy hippie and steals a f*cking jetpack from area 69 because, wait for it... yea, f*ck you. GTA. Gets a casino. Yep, FU, GTA. Steals some friggin fighter jet. GTA. Becomes the manager of a goddamn rapper, yo yo yo, n-word f u niggah, gee tee eh madafaka. Returns to hood, brother gets out of jail, kills fat guy and black cop. CJ gets money and f*cks bitches.

Nothing wrong with bad stories at all, that never stopped GTA from being loved, but if you are gonna say that V is the worst, I think you should really consider the two I already explained. I mean, look at San Andreas. Yeah, V has ridiculous things, that's why we have different protagonists. You wouldn't see Franklin doing all Trevor's missions. That's why you have SA.

IMO

Edit: added an IMO at the end to avoid sh*t.

It's just my opinion bro.

I really believe GTA V's story was the worst in the series, That FIB/government agent stuff has a lot to do with my opinion.

Apparently I said unrealistic because you said "If I don't like a part of the story and find it boring, uninteresting, or unrealistic, then I tend not to enjoy the relevant missions that much," which had me thinking, that's why I said that to you and also the 50 army was just an example and I never said you said it.

Almost all of GTA's missions are unrealistic, I still love them. I even love three leaf clover, even though there are some things that are unrealistic about it.

so I don't really know where you're getting that from as well, basically now you are really trying make the conversation more complex than it should be. I understand you don't like them because it's your opinion or and I'm not going to influence it, I'm just making, simple as that. But enough of this, is just pointless to continue this endless conversation.

No, my comments were clear as crystal, I'm not sure how and why you interpreted them in the way you did. Maybe you just don't understand or speak English properly, which I can see as fair enough, since your first language is Spanish.

When I said 'unrealistic', I meant by limits within the context of the game itself, not compared to actual real life in general. That's something you could not understand for obvious reasons. Not everything in GTA has to be way over-the-top or so unrealistic just because it's a game. GTA is still set in a realistic world, there has to be limits.

Remember when you criticize the paleto score for being unrealistic and the wrap up for the whole gov't agencies faceoff as well. What you said just now, doesn't say nothing because of what you said before. It seems to me like your hiding those facts, that is the main reason why I actually posted this whole thing to begin with.

GTA V does have realistic aspects as well as unrealistic aspects and the game can be whatever it wants to be, because it's really an open world game after all and that's what they do.

quite a few that can qualify as ''most boring''. One that immediately comes to mind is the one where you go to survey the docks for the merryweather heist and you have to use that crane.

That was a bit boring by itself, but it was a nice slow build up to the heist that followed it. The heist on the ship was quite good, but what ruined it all was the fact that we never got paid a cent for it. It was bullsh*t like this that really messed up the the experience.
