My Rooftop Rumble Method

I know there are many methods out there for people running rooftop rumble but I thought I'd just share mine in-case anyone find's it a little easier.

 

Upon spawning I get in my car and drive to the back of the car parking lot. I do NOT trigger the message to go to the parking lot at this point. if you are looking from the back of the parking lot I go to the right hand side and throw a grenade under the closest SUV. I then throw one over the SUV to land in the middle of the 4 cars. When these explode they will kill the majority of the enemies in there (also I have never had the documents destroyed from blowing up these 4 - 6 vehicles). Whilst the explosion is going off most of the enemies that are still alive are stunned / stumbling. I then go in and unload on the remaining enemies.

 

Note* Because I have not triggered the first objective to go to the car parking lot yet the guy with the brief case will not jump in his car or even try to escape but rather concentrate on killing you.

 

Once you get 2/3rds of the way into the garage it will trigger the event and if there are any enemies left you will need to kill these before the suitcase appears as being available to be picked up (even if you can see it you cannot interact with it).

 

This is where sometimes I deviate. If I want to get the mission done quickstyle I will jump back in my car and floor it. If I want a nice relaxing drive back to martins I will walk out onto the street and let the SUV's come at me. There are only 4 SUV's in total. So if you kill the two people per SUV (31RP per kill) and you kill them all you can drive back to Martin's without being hassled by anyone. As soon as you take out one SUV the other one will spawn directly behind it. The NPC's that are driving round the city will drive normally and you will not get crashed into by any other enemies / NPC's (unless you are not a great driver).

 

I have not timed myself doing this yet as I don't farm RR over and over again as I like to mix it up with Stocks and Scares / The los santos connection / chemical extraction etc etc etc. However I have a feeling that hanging around to take the SUV's out is just as quick (and if not safer) than getting out of there straight away and facing the crazy NPC drivers & The enemy NPC's.

I farmed rr for 2 hours.

I drove to the southside of the parking lot, climbed of the Wall, killed everyone inside with the gusenberg, jumped into the parking lot, grabbed the docs and climbed out the same way i came in. Got into my fast car - most time the entity - and drove to Martin. Took the route east side of the golf course.

Took about 2:37 minutes roughly.

 

Was the ersieht, cheapest and fastest way for me.

I drove to the southside of the parking lot, climbed of the Wall, killed everyone inside with the gusenberg, jumped into the parking lot, grabbed the docs and climbed out the same way i came in. Got into my fast car - most time the entity - and drove to Martin. Took the route east side of the golf course.

Took about 2:37 minutes roughly.

 

Was the ersieht, cheapest and fastest way for me.

 

try the same method on an akuma and yourll edge that to under 2:30

You don't really have to hassle yourself with killing all the enemies in Grangers because they're also pretty horrible at driving. I've done this mission several times where I go to the back of the parking lot, kill everyone, take the docs and then drive to Martin's. As long as you can evade the enemies in Grangers, then it'll be way quicker.

Drive to the north east corner and go back to the eastern wall. Jump up, grenade launcher the car by the back wall, that takes care of 5 of them, blindfire the guys on the right to knock them to the ground and waste them. Jump over, look left and headshot that fool, walk forward a bit and one should pop out, run to the next entrance and kill him (or ignore him). Grab the docs and run for car. Simples

Or you can just pistol whip all of them

My method:

 

1. Turn around towards the parking garage.

2. Kill three guys out front.

3. Kill dude who goes Rambo on you and runs out of the garage. That will trigger the other guy to drive off.

4. All of that takes about 30-45 seconds.

5. Kill the guy in the car, collect the documents.

6. Drive off to Madrazo's.

Usually takes me about 2:20-2:45. Depending on how many NPC cars try and swerve in to me.

I know you can get some more RP for killing everyone but I really don't need it. (lvl 150)

I like to drive up to the hedge wall and climb up. Shoot a grenade towards the back. I drive around the back and shoot man who drives out with documents then speed off to martins.

Impossible for me. It just so happens that all npc cars tend to block you or ride into your even if you are in the right lane. They will suddenly turn in front of you. Tried it on my bati and got killed due to a random car hitting me at high speed from back.

I don't think I've ever used explosives. I normally back my car up to the END hedge (smaller one), jump onto the larger one, use the combat MG with extended clip to just auto-aim headshot everyone except the guys at the front, run in, grab the case, jump over the small hedge and the reason I say the small one is it has a wall for protection against the guys at the front shooting you. Then just get in my car and floor it and ignore the SUVs.

 

This takes me about 2:20-30.

Playing some RR right now with Insert-Coin-To-Continue now and some random that joined the lobby and turned out to be quite good. We are getting it done in around 2 minutes:

 

- Insert-Coins-To-Continue calls in a Merryweather chopper at the start then goes to the side.

- The random makes his way around to the back exit.

- I head for the front, I take out the the three guys standing at the entrance

- The random takes out the guys near the car the guy uses to escape

- Insert-Coins-To-Continue once most enemies are clear grabs the chopper.

- I grenade launch the cars against the far wall all lined up.

-I run in grab the briefcase while the random covers me

- We all jump in the chopper while Insert-Coins-To-Continue pilots.

- Parachute into Martins yard.

 

Takes normally 2 minutes or so.

My bad as well totally sprayed and missed him. Still I had us timed at 43 seconds from when we started to when we f*cked up the helicopter.

Hedge on the right side, auto shotgun. I can kill all the enemies with one (extended) magazine. All the guys inside die within 2-3 seconds, then I go around front to kill the three guys there. 48 dollars in ammo. I use a helicopter for the getaway though, so that's 1000 dollars less.
