I know I'm not the only one who remembers buying a game and that was it you got what you got. You didn't get updates, you didn't get DLC. What came in that box you brought home form a store is it nothing more nothing less.

 

In GTA 5 we have got 1.01, 1.02, 1.03, ... 1.11

 

We have got beach bum, Santa sh*t, valentines day sh*t, and now business sh*t. A few new cars, some clothes, haircuts, tats, and a jet.

 

Plus they have fixed the little things like turning slip stream and catch up off, added all jobs to the start menu, fixed glitches, etc, etc.

 

All the updates and DLC cost us nothing they were all free yet some people still bitch. Yes you can voluntarily buy fake money but if you choose not to then you have spent nothing but the money you have spent on the game.

 

Sure they haven't added everything but GTA O is an ongoing environment that will continue to change .

I agree! You already bought a full game the extra's are just nice and I love free stuff. But I don't complain about it. I would complain if it was already in the game, and afterward you had to pay for it. :S that is something to bug about!

Still the DLC so far has been quite useless.. Pointless guns (Yippie another new Pistol), Cars that are not as good as the original one's included in the game.. Crap clothing, Dodgy haircuts, And Wow a new tattoo or two, fantastic.. Thanks R*

GTA iv had nothing added whatsoever.

No new races no new D'M's.

You had them 20 races them 10 or so Dm maps and that was it.

If you wanted new content you had to pay 1600 points for the tlad or tbogt even then we waited 6 months for that and couldn't play with anyone who was on another version.

This is not an MMO. This is a glorified 16 players matchmaker. Or, if you`d like.. GTA 4 MP with missions - hardly Earth shattering 5 years later.

 

Also, I didn`t get GTA:O for free. I bought GTA 5 game, with its two components - SP AND MP. I bought after watching the trailer, which clearly hints at heists. No idea which country you live in, but my game box clearly states on the back: "Featuring Grand Theft Auto Online"

For me, Vice City, San Andreas and GTA IV were better games than GTA V

 

Yes the sights are stunning and the game play is better than ever but the story is lacking and hollow, and lots of features are missing. I didn't really care about Michael, Franklin nor Trevor at the end of the story, I would of happily killed them all off and played with Lamar, Jimmy or Amanda etc

 

Where as I felt really different about TV, CJ and NB and was pulled into their individual stories.

 

The DLC is adding things that to be honest isn't changing the game, it should of been in there in the first instance.

You paid definetly for gta 5,because that is written on the box and your bill you received. Here in germany the box says: contains gta online.

Though it's the same City, it is a different game as gta v. Rockstar also mentioned this aswell.

The box and manual etc don't mention heists in gta online.

Even if those were mentioned in the trailer, it was just advertising. As you should be 18 or older, you should have learned not to believe everything commercials tell you

Some games I remember were RE4 sw battlefront super smash bros on n64. All had a blast playing and asked for no more than what was given to me.

When it comes to singleplayer games, I am nostalgic for the days when they couldn't update and had to thoroughly test and update before release. We got complete products because updating wasn't a option. Nowerdays they seem to just pump em out, and let us test the games for them. Not good for the few people who don't have internet access because they're potentially stuck with glitchy/unfinished games.

 

However, with this being the online multiplayer component it's completely understandable that regular updates and patches are needed. And the extra free content that they're throwing out with it can't be sniffed at, it's free.

Does it look like a different game to you? Because, sure as hell, it doesn`t to me.

 

The ONLY facts about this game are the following: The matchmaker puts 16 players on the same map the GTA 5 story mode game takes place. Said players have no cooperative choices but to f*ck around, just like the older game, GTA 4. There are several missions, which nobody gives a crap about, so all that content is reduced to 2-3 missions. The rest is, unsurprisingly, DM and races.

 

The same was done as far back as 2003, with Freelancer and it wasn`t called an MMO, nor named as one - and that had actual servers with more than 16 players, btw. The same was done with GTA 4, 5 years ago.

 

You will excuse me if I believe what I am seeing and not Rockstar`s stories, will you? It WOULD have been ideal for an MMO, ala World of Darkness (the one in development at CCP Games), but it isn`t - it`s just a 16 players matchmaker. 4-5 new cars and 2 decent new weapons won`t change anything.

What you might find crappy someone might find entertaining, and show me the EVIDENCE where it says heists were promised.

 

Just because it showed heists in the online trailer doesn't mean that they were going to be released along with online.
