Geralt of Rivia
Saints Row 3 was indeed a very fun game. So much f*cking around, and the cheats were actually good.
Official General
SR3 was not better than GTA IV but it was still very fun. It was unrealistic, cheesy and absurd but it never claimed to be anything else. We need stuff like that as much as need a RDR or IV. We don't need silly stuff like what is on SR3's levels for every game, it all depends on the game and what it's about. GTA certainly don't need that bullsh*t. iainspad
BLOOD
@peluche Lol the you must be the oldest guy in this forum @Official General True bro,SR3 and SR4 are the most retarded sequels a franchise would have hoped for.GTA 3 was a Revolution Tekken 3 was a Revolution unlike SR3 lol. hehehe, SR3 was pure garbage, I mean I myself think games aren't supposed be that realistic, because they are games, but SR3 defied me in every way possible.Lol,i couldnt take the sh*t anymore i had to trade it in after a week. When i got SR2 that was a different story but unfortunately i lost the game then i played SA last year before V was released and i was bashing the hell out of the SR franchise how they started by ripping-off SA then without no f*cking reason made the 3rd and 4th game went retarded. @Official General True bro,i read some article and in it the writer said if GTA wasnt been picked on it will go extremely realistic in terms of everything including violent,I actually love how GTA 5 balanced fun and realism,i.e. I can watch TV or Play Golf then some minute later i am driving a Jet Edited March 10, 2014 by Blood-Is-in-Diamond

See that's what you get when game developers start getting over their heads. Especially volition, which started out pretty good but then they went on to sh*t all over their creation. Sure GTA started out with silly stuff but as the series kept gong they kept improving but at the same time falling back in some parts. Algonquin Assassin
Here's some interesting trivia. For a brief amount of time I actually liked SR2 more than GTA IV for about a month after release, but I never finished it and going back to GTA IV made me realise I will forever be a GTA IV fanboy... As for SRTT and SRIV I consider playing these two games to be dark moments in my time as a gamer. Both of them are horrid. Just horrid IMO. BLOOD
From copying and get influenced by SA's Gang theme with SR1 and 2,then 3 made you a celebrity with Giant BodyGuards and Dildos with no uses atleast SA had them but it had Strip Clubs Interactivity unlike the SR games, then 4 went from being a DLC to a full game with Aliens and you becoming the Ruler of the Universe,Lol wtf? i thought SR was going to use SA's influences to be the greatest gangster game franchise but awfully failed.infact i might start a thread on this if no-one does. Official General
I could never get into Saints Row; I remember playing the original for 5-6 hours and after that never again. SR 4 I stopped playing immediately after the first mission because there was a sign that said "terrorist parking only", it pissed me off . It just isn t my cup of tea, however, I LOVED Sleeping Dogs; the feel of Hong Kong and the general casual atmosphere and fun gameplay totally won me over. I am much more interested in a sequel to SP than the release of Watch Dogs that s for sure. I'm playing Sleeping Dogs now, I'm liking it already ! Just started it, I have a feeling I'm gonna really get into it.

BLOOD
@SFPD Great comment bro.... and i respect what you just said but how did Rockstar embrace Over-the-top-fun again? all the HD Era games are SO Grounded to Realism even though TBoGT and esp. V balanced Realism with Fun,In V we can fly planes and jet but at the same time Eat,Drink,Watch TV,Sleep (to save game),use a mobile phone, buy things online, and even the Strip Club Interactivity that GTA is Known for was evolved during the time period of IV and V.So i cant see how Rockstar or GTA is embracing Wackiness again.I am sure Next-Gen GTAs will take the realism to another level. @Raavi True it about GTA 5 but idk someone, maybe a SR fanboy(s) brought up that SR is better than GTA.
