Why is Night ALWAYS the Same Brightness?

Regardless of whether it's a full moon or a new moon, the night is always the same brightness (full moon).

 

Wouldn't it be awesome if (at times) the only light came from the stars and artificial lights?

Uhh, have you ever been to a large city? Its called light pollution, plus its just one more thing for people to btch about just like bull shark testosterone in tdm.... Cry cry cry..

At the actual distance Chilliad is it would get massive light pollution. Whenever i drive out of Miami i can see an orange glow in the sky from miles away.

Chilliad is supposed to be at the opposite end of the state.

No it ain't. Start at maze bank, center of downtown at mark a route to Mt Chilliad. Then look at the radar and tell me the mileage. Rhode Island is bigger.

I think R* set the brightness level too high. So lower it, and it will feel more like night time.

have you been in sandy shores durimng a full moon on a clear night?

 

The moon casts a shadow on my car, and the valley fills with moonlight.

 

without the moon I can tell the difference.

 

Not the same brightness if you ask me

You gave me an idea and I sent a suggestion to R*. Zoot Suit Riot Event.

Make a weekend event and have the npc going crazy downtown. New clothes zoot suits, sailor suits, and dresses for the dames. New hairdo's like victory rolls for the ladies.

New weapons, switchblade, brass knuckles, 1911 pistol, and M1 Garand. New vehicles 1942 Lincoln Continental Cabriolet and a Willys Jeep. Have the event first weekend of June.

That's an awesome idea! Not sure if Rock star will release another "suit" heavy DLC with Valentines Day Massacre and Business updates fresh in our minds.

 

But I love that car and the M1. :)
