Who pays for Tank-destroyed PVs?

After the new update, if a tank destroys your PV with its cannon, does the tank driver pay for your PV? Does it matter if they were moving in the tank or not?

 

If a tank crushes your PV, does the tank driver pay for your PV?

 

If I jack a tank owner's tank and begin to destroy PVs with it, do I pay for any damages? Or does the original owner who called Pegasus for the tank pay for the damages?

I've concluded that I am the only person who ends up paying insurance for PVs when tanks are involved, regardless of who has the tank.

Hands up who wants tanks removed o/ It's an embarrassing vehicle. Every time I take a sh*t on someone, they instantly run for a tank. Then you sh*t on them some more, then they leave to get away, then they come back with another tank zzzzzzz You literally can't have fun crew vs crew battles on this game. I would love to see the piece of sh*t completely removed from the game. It'll stop bad kids looking ever so more stupid, and bring pleasure to us good players.

i do hope rockstar removes tanks i've been blasted for no reason by players who where on a killing spree in them and my car gets blown up by them and they don't have to pay a dime for replacing my car!!!

Tanks should only be obtainable from Fort Zancudo. If someone has made all the effort to drive to Zancudo, break in, steal a tank, get out alive then drive all the way back to Los Santos, he can do wahtever the f*ck he wants with it as far as I'm concerned. Most of the people who run to tanks aren't skilled enoug to do this, so they would either stop being douches, or get killed so many times they quit.

I'm all for this idea - you can't take them out completely....just make them VERY hard to obtain.
