I'd help you out if I could, but I play on the PS3.

A heads up btw. I had the merc's Mesa, and when it got destroyed by something, it glitched out in such a way where I couldn't call the insurance company to get a replacement. I don't know if it's a common bug, or bad luck on my end, but just be wary of it.

The best thing I could say is try and find someone that's AFK and then call mercenaries on them. Steal one as they attack. (If no one will help you with it)

I'd much rather suggest doing the gang attack off the highway (drive towards the beach/waterfront) by the Fort. It appears at around 19-20:00. There are a couple of Merryweather Mesas that appear with the mercs for this gang attack. Finish the gang attack and take one.

Yep, this has happened to me twice. It would have to be some sort of glitch I guess.

I thought in the latest patch the gang attack Mesa could no longer be stored?

Sorry to hear that. It sucks, but it's not the end of the world I suppose.

Tymerc, that's what happens when you engage in game breaking exploits. PLEASE stop hacking the game and delaying heists for all of us legitimate players. Thanks.

 

And OT: I heard that gang attack Mesas are now unable to stored. I have not tried though. And OP, the Off Road Mesa is different from the Merryweather Mesa. Former is like the latter but has no rollcage or air snout and can only be obtained through save editing or duping.

I got my Mesa from missions with Merryweather. Specifically, that mission you you go to the docks, crack the case, and take the case to Lester's warehouse. Can't think of the name of it... But, there'sva few of the trucks just sitting there. Just make sure you're in one when the mission is completed.

I dunno, maybe. I stored one of the gang attack mesas as of last patch/1.10. I didn't know 1.11 patched this, maybe I'll test tomorrow.

As of patch 1.11, there is no longer an option for Loss/Theft Prevention (in LSC) when you take a Merryweather Jeep from the Gang Attack, or when you take one from a mission. I haven't checked yet if someone calls mercenaries on you, but I hear that you can still take one of those.

Not that I didn't believe the other poster/s, but I was bored in invite only just now and decided to head up to the Fort to do the gang attack. There was only one Mesa there where there always used to be two and sure enough, when I took it to LSC, there was no option to insure/track it.

 

Love my Mesa, but I've been spending more time with the Vigero lately, which I think is one of the most underappreciated "found on the street" (although rarely) cars in the game.
