Technically, he was players a single player campaign bank heist since he was able to change from person to person....and Rockstar had those in the game since launch.

I'm thinking the coding for GTAOnline bank heists is a little more in depth then the likes of Minecraft.

Minecraft and GTA5 are two different games. Different coding. Different engines. Different elements. Different almost everything. It may be easier for them to make it than rockstar because rockstar has so much stuff they got to go through to put it out while minecraft doesn't have as much.

Modders DO push things back, like N2O for example, it's just another thing Rockstar has to try to fix. Saying that tho, I'm alright with modders, they can mod till their hearts content.

Depending on the popularity of the game and the ease with which it can be manipulated, modders in general can put out more stuff more quickly than the actual developers. They don't have the same rules to follow.

 

You should see the kind of things people have made for Skyrim. It's f*cking unbelievable. One mod added a brand new land and over 30 hours of new gameplay, and I can't forget about the Skywind project that's working to put the entire world of the third game, Morrowind, into Skyrim. And it's not the first time they did that, either. They did it with Oblivion, too.
