Why are the Cops so overpowered?

And no,I don't mean Cops being right on your A** while you are driving a Super Car.

Why are Cops alerted if I kill a NPC in the Middle of nowhere,even if I use a Suppressor?That makes no Sense.

I was near Fort Zancudo today at the Ammu Nation Shop,pulled a Guy out of his Car and killed him in a Fist Fight.

*Boom* 2 Red Dots on the Map,the Army Guards behind the Gates are alerted and the Cops are on me again.

 

Why does Rockstar add something like that?

That would make Sense if somebody was nearby and called the Police but there was no one around.

I was under the assumption that everyone is wearing a heart monitor at all times, and if their heart stops for any reason, the police are notified and dispatched immediately.

 

Same goes for if you're standing within 10 feet a cop for more than 3 seconds.

Orr you could look at it as super realism. If you kill someone in real life...even out in the desert with a silence weapon...I bet someone knows you did it and you get busted.

Ya it's pretty frustrating. I sniped a guy in Paleto Bay from a good distance up on Mt. Chiliad with my silenced sniper and the cops instantly knew exactly where I was and I had to run in order to get the "sight cones" to show up so I could lose them.

 

It might be more realistic but it's a lot less fun imo.

The cops in this game are the worst in the entire series. The cops in IV were perfect but they really dropped the ball with V

You never know. People can always see. Perhaps they were at the window and were looking at you. And if the MILITARY witnessed you murder someone with your own hands.. well, they are obviously going to shoot at you. Just don't be so f*cking dumb and kill people where army folks are patrolling.

notice how now when you call lester to remove your wanted level a cop car will plow right into you and give you an instant 3 star wanted level.

 

psycho super cops are not a replacement for the old 6 star army chase. its just a push to sell cash cards buy having the police waste your ammo and money.

Problem is,the Place where I killed him is on the Other Side of Lago Zancudo,behind a Building.

I'm not entirely sure how the Guards at the Gates noticed that,he didn't even Scream.

Also,the Guard at the North Side of Zancudo was alerted too...

Oh f*ck you. We could turn them off in GTA4 free mode, meaning you could experiment more, create your own unrestricted mayhem. GTA5 is a far more controlled landscape.

it would be very complex to program a more dynamic police response but youd think w/it being so central to this billion dollar game they would. right now, its lazy to have it programmed where shoot somebody, you get a wanted level, and just spawn cops to chase you etc and raise level the more damage or shooting you do etc. but to do it situationally would be tough and rockstar has no reason to they will side on the overpowered cops because at least there will always be action in a server wherever you are or even if theres no other players around you.

I also like when you get rear-ended by a cop chasing a player with a wanted level you get a wanted level too.

I am sure they will add a feature where they can be turned off, but you should not be able to make money.

No cops in iv were too easy. I like gta v cops yes they might be a little op but it's the best cop Ai in a game. All gta cops have been in the past were bumbling idiots
