Turismo R replacing the Entity XF?

Franceska

Recommended Posts

I did a race today and asked myself... why the hell should I want to shell out 750.000 for a car when one for 500.000 can do the same?

I did RR today, a lot. Used my Turismo's bulletproof ass, didn't got hit in my car.

It's (nearly) as fast as the Entity XF.

It has better brakes.

It turns a lot better.

It's lower, but that makes it look awesome.

So yeah... it's basically doing the same job as the Entity XF...

Is the Turismo R slowly replacing the Entity XF now?

or am I missing something that the Entity has the Turismo doesn't?

( I own 2 Entity's and 1 Turismo )

It's not bulletproof, and the entity is still a better car. Not by much, but it is.

I think it's better but I haven't had an entity since I was given all that money.

Yes it is.

As long as the back is still on, it's bulletproof. I freaking drove my Turismo in the garage without getting hit from the back, when they all were still alive.

I've had the NPCs following me, and never got hit once. I did when taking my Coquette.

There;s a window that can be shot through. Its a tough angle but it can be done.

It's not a better car though.

This. Like it or not, it's uesful on missions. The Turismo's back might as well just be a big hole, as the AI opponents lock on to you with such accuracy, they will gun you down in seconds.

It's small yeah, but not big enough to be shot through if someone just tries to kill you, right? They have to aim for that, right? (Just curious)

Someone said the Entity is still faster by a whooping .7 of a second. Depends what works for you and against whom, though.

It's smaller than most rear windows because it's thinner, but it can be done. The Entity is a different story.

If you don't have either one, I can certainly see the justification for saving $250,000 by going with the Turismo. But if you already own an Entity (I do, many of us do) I see no reason to swap it for a Turismo.

Yeah from the Entity I know it's pure bulletproof. That's why I still have 2 in my garage. Just with the tank sniping being patched, I prefer to take my Turismo out than my Entity. Rather shell out 6k than 9k, in case one of the twankers are smart to be bankrupt.

Also, is it just me or is the Turismo, like really low?

Most awkward moment I had so far with the Turismo...

I was escaping the cops from just attacking an ATV..

Went over the rails...

Got stuck.

Couldn't go forwards, or backwards. Couldn't spin around. o.0

I have both, I sold my third Entity XF because I already had 2, so I'll just re-create my second entity to have my red Entity back.

I came to a dead stop at low speeds because the nose caught on a curb.

I can sort of see having an Entity and a Turismo (well, not really but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt), but why would you want more than one of any particular car?

The Entity is definitely the better car overall but the Turismo can compete with it. I look at it as a slightly better version of the Cheetah. It can hang with the Entity but when it comes down to one vs the other, the Entity wins.

( I own 2 Entity's and 1 Turismo )

Can I ask what the point of that is?

Indeed the Turismo is a fantastic car but the Entity edges out being the mildly better vehicle when pushed to the limit due to better traction (AWD helps in the corners), less wheel spin and a higher ground clearance.

Can the Turismo hang with the best of them? Sure can, but it can't when everything is at the limit.

Bought one. And duped this one. Just in case I need some $ and can't be bothered to grind RR all day. :)

A ramp that can keep up with the Entity is always good to have ;)

I have the 4 most expensive Supers in my Garage from the most expensive to the cheapest.

This makes me wonder if it's really worth it getting a Turismo R, since I already have an Entity, and there's no way I'd replace it. I think I'll just focus on getting the Vestra

Let me break down the two car's stats for you.

ENTITY:

Top Speed: 8.3

Acceleration: 8.2

Braking: Below Turismo

Traction: Entity wins.

TURISMO:

Top Speed: 8.3

Acceleration: 8.7 or 8.8

Turismo WINS in Braking (not sure of exact stat though)

Turismo only has worse traction by a very small amount.

So essentially, the Turismo has the same speed as the Entity, accelerates much faster, is better at braking, BUT has worse traction (but only by small amount).

Turismo: $500,000

Entity: $790,000

You decide.

As overall racing super cars it goes:

Entity XF > Turismo R > Adder > Cheetah > Infernus > Vacca etc...

Both are amazing cars, but I still feel as if the Entity is slightly better. It doesn't slide out as easily and the Turismo is so f*cking low to the ground I have got it stuck more than any car in just past few days of using it. I mean the Turismo can barely make it over most curbs. It is nice though to have a car perform so well and not have too high of an insurance to pay if something goes wrong.
