When do you think R* is going to introduce the Lazer/ Hunter/Hydra to the Warstock Cache? They've all been seen in trailers/posts, maybe a possible Urban Warfare DLC or something idk. Just wondering if anyone thinks they will come.

They have already been added, you need to glitch them over from GTA San Andreas using the lag switch.

I think the Hunter will come eventually, like you said, it is in one of the Warstock screenshots. Also maybe a small chance of a another jet coming, and more military vehicles and military clothes.

Imagine an armored, fast helicopter with unlimited dumb missiles like back in SA... That would actually be alot cooler than stupid lock-on missiles.

Maybe in an upcoming DLC pack? I've seen the hunter in plenty of in game commercial or trailers so it has to be coded in already.

I remember the Hunter was on the Warstock site in a screenshot not long before release. R* has a fully functioning Hunter as we speak, I guaran-f*cking-tee it. Soon...

that's not the hydra. its the beta design of the Lazer. the Hydra is based on the Sea Harrier (probably II) but the beta version of the Lazer was gonna be a F-35. in the final version of the game, the Lazer was changed to be based on F-16 while the rear is based on the F-35.

no Hydras were found in GTA V (nor the stupid idea of the jetpack. who the hell created that stupid idea of a jetpack in this game anyways? :sarcasm:)

Why does it have to be a war game to have stuff like this in it? Is Gta: SA a war game? Because that had the Hunter, the Hydra, and the Rhino?

 

It'd be nice to have a person in the front seat of the Hunter to control the machine gun.

This, I would much rather release a flurry of missiles without autolock. I use the Buzzard mainly for missile kills without it, so having a vicious helicopter like the Hunter would be perfect.

 

A set of two flares on the Hunter that regenerate after like 30 seconds would be spectacular.

That sure explains why tanks and other military gear are available to the player.

 

Nothing wrong with people wanting an effective counter to people in tanks, now that we can't snipe them anymore.

Not sure. It was clearly a VTOL jet, seen in trailer 1, later we got a screenshot of the Lazer (which has no F-35 parts at all) and again later we got trailer 2 where the AV-8B/F-35A hybrid was shown again. Don't know, but I think it was an entirely different aircraft. Same with the Skimmer, which is also absent in the final game.

I don't have an answer, just throwing this out there:

 

Wouldnt more people having easy access to Jets create a similar problem to tanks. (A lot of people look at tanks as a cancer to the game) the argument could be made that it would just raise the amount of people having their cars blown up and probably more " fighter jets should be removed" threads.

 

However from the other side, there should be a very effective way of combating tanks since sniping has gone away. Because RPGs and Stickys just arent effective enough. Fighter jets would definitely help battle tanks.

I agree. if the jet/Lazer was also available to purchase from the internet, a tank+Lazer war will start.

at least aces like me can blow these Lazy Lazers with ease :p

I would love to see a massive tank/jet battle in the streets of LS. I'd probably just get a good view and set back in passive. :)
