Lol it does not take 25 buzzard rockets to blow up a tank, takes 2 maybe 3 aim for the rear end of the tank you can blow a brand new tank up with like 3 sticky bombs if you get them on the back of the tank its the tanks weakes point.

I find that really easy to do with an unstable helicopter, in the middle of a city of high rise buildings, with missiles which don't lock on and a tank which will obviously remain stationary and not attempt to shoot me down while I try to destroy it by hitting it at least three times in exactly the right spot. The balance seems skewed a little...

A simple solution would be to increase the damage of the RPG as well as the speed of the rocket. Real life RPGs move so fast you can hardly see them they don't spiral all slow and sh*t like in this game

im sure you have friends dont you? have a friend get into the passenger seat and just hover right above the tank so it cannot shoot at you and your friend can take out the tank with the missile cam because it CAN shoot straight down. I have done it with my friend many times.

Yes, just call Lester to hide you in minimap when approaching, then throw the tank in a place where he can't go out like an empty pool (this way he can't call pegasus for a replacement)

it's diffcult to '' winch '' a tank ( seen on youtube tank heist ) . not only that's the problem , bulky size , loud sound and slow speed could easily overpower the cargobob . perhaps the cause of diffculty using hook winch instead magnet winch , so u need to place the winch on middle of between 2 hatch on tank's turret

Reducing the f*cking tank turret rotation speed would be helpful instead. That sh*t goes faster than the ThrustSCC doing a land speed record run.

 

Then the reload speed, maybe at least 4 seconds would be reasonable.

the rhino's cannon rotation speed is agressive since it's pointed which camera is facing ( e.g if player enter the tank and camera is facing at rear , the turret rotate wildy at camera's direction )

I still say tanks should cost 10,000$ each time you take one out.

But. I think one RPG should make the tank stationary... Then next one should blow it up.

 

They are tanks not the HULK. No tank can sit there eating RPGS and still be fully functional. It also should not move and shoot so fast.

 

 

 

 

But... like i said. Tanks are R*s trolling cash balancing machines. If they nerf tanks they sell less of em... And the less tanks around the less ammo/rpgs will be purchased to combat them.

 

 

Simple solution to tanks -

 

- Make then cost 10k+ to obtain (5k isn't a lot to deter people from spamming Pegasus imo)

- Put a cap on them of one tank per hour

- Make it so buzzards/jets lock on to tanks only

- Limit rotation speed/Fire rate

- Implement tank sniping again

 

The list could go on and on, Tanks are overpowered in this game and there's no denying that. Some simple tweaking and they are A-OK and balanced, it doesn't take a genius to balance them.

 

What i find most funny is people who say they're not OP and tell you "if you dont like it, find a new session" I find it hilarious, why should i be forced to leave a session every time i see a tank(which is every lobby near enough) Give us a good counter and then they wont be such an issue.

 

Oh and the people who say "play invite only" Im sorry but some us like the option to bump into people here and there, do some random stuff you cant do in invite only and just have more fun. Invite only is boring unless you have a fair few friends online which obviously can't happen every time you're on.

 

 

TLDR; You're on a forum, its about reading and sharing opinions so if you dont like reading i guess you're in the wrong place haha

The best way to blow up a tank is with another tank. You want to hit the rear of the tank, if possible, since it's weaker. Rockets, and I didn't realize you could auto-aim tanks, are too slow so they're easy to dodge. I suppose the grenade launcher might work better but taking on a tank on foot is a losing proposition. The second best way to take out a tank is probably to load up a car with five stickies, go off the radar, and suicide bomb the rear of the tank. Five stickies can take out a tank.

For some reason, and I haven't tested this thoroughly, the rockets launched from the camera cause more damage (and are slower), than their single player counterparts.

ah the a-10 thunderbolt II named after the famous p-47 thunderbolt of ww2 the original tank buster, before this baby came along. flys like a brick but that gau-30 avenger they slapped on the front combined with it flying like a brick gave it the nickname "warthog" or "hog", though I do not agree with the original posts as if someone saves up 1.5 million for a tank they should get to enjoy their rampage and tanks are easy to get away from and plot a counter strike against if your smart especially with the recent nerf due to little bitches who cant afford it so whine about it, and if you know how to fly and aren't half retarded that makes things even easier, I do agree that they should totally add a sweet looking and majestically terrifying and powerful ground shredder like the thunderbolt II, however no matter how much you plea that's never going to happen because in order to match up to its real life counterpart it would need some insanely powerful tank busting weapons like a minigun with double the splash damage of the lazer, a volley of rockets instead of the usual 2 aim 9 sidewinders, and this sure enough would get the bitches complaining about how the warthog was op even though its slower and less maneuverable than all other fighter aircraft in (and coming) to the game, its a vicious cycle really no matter how many things you add to try and balance a game theres always going to be those skill less bitches whining about how its unfair even though its not at all, but speculation anyway so: 1. what would it be named? 2.price ideas? 3. how would it be balanced compared to other aircraft so that it didn't tear every single thing in the game to bits with a couple shots? if I had a choice I would personally name it the "jobuilt hogger"

as I said in the post on the warthog then you would just get bitches complaining about how the stealth bomber is unfair its just like "bitch shut the f*ck up who gives a sh*t you go save up 3 million for a stealth bomber and maybe you can do something about it" its a vicious cycle really, but I think I have a solution: getting rid of the kids and certain races of humans not going to name any ones in particular from the game would lessen the whining
