I'm buying the Vestra.

So far I've gotten Red/White, Orange/White and Green/White.

It seems to be the most popular plane in non-gta air races now.

While this is hardly conclusive evidence, in my own custom air race mallards consistently beat Luxors/shamals with a time just under 6 minutes. The vestra did the course in 5 minutes 5 seconds. Its kind of op but I love it.

 

OT its as useless as any other plane you can own, in that it serves no practical purpose beyond occasionally getting back to the city fast...but its awesome fun to muck around in if that's your thing. I love mine.

I'd say its worth it, I got it, it can take if it a tenth of a second and you can land it almost everywhere, also if you land it really hard a wheel pops off most of the time you can still take it off again and it wont blow up upon landing if you land soft the next time

I got a ton of red and white ones, once it was Orange and white and another time it was Green and white. That black and yellow looks awesome though. I'd have gotten mine black and red if I could have. I'm loving it though, I flew around with it for hours last night and I wish I was flying it around some more right now. If you guys want a fun challenge land on one of the smaller mountains on the east side of LS that has a nice long slope then try taking off backwards by going down the slope. It's super fun.

it's so much fun to fly, i've been session hopping and calling up a vestra each time, i've done it maybe 15 times now and i've always gotten red/white except once, it was orange/white

Dude yesterday i was flying my Vestra in free mode and 2-3 more ppl flying Vestras and planes.GTAO felt so f*cking alive till one noob got a fighter jet to hunt us down!

If you want to intentionally get another color this is how you do it.

 

Get a Vestra, it'll be red and white most likely. Land it, crash it into a few buildings until the engines burn out but do this close enough to where your new Vestra will spawn when you call Pegasus. The next one you get will likely be Orange and white. If you do this again with the orange and white one the next one may be green and white. So on and so forth. At least that's what I've noticed so far.

If it is so, then I'm guessing colour is determined by what number person to spawn a Vestra in that session you are...

 

If that is the case, I would like to fill a lobby with Vestra owners, then we can see all (atleast) 16 of the different possibilities!

As far as I know, it comes only in white and red. But you can upgrade it after purchase to blood-spattered or flames all along the sides.

No you can't.

 

There's no LSC for planes.
