What causes insurance loss?

So I got all the new vehicles fully modded. I was messing around in my turismo, and it blew up. So i repaired it, brought out my jester. I was driving around the sewers and decided to go into the tunnel. For some reason, my jester randomly decided to get destroyed. I thought it was funny/stupid so i took a picture of where it got destroyed, not knowing it would be the last time id see it. Then i called mors mutual after leaving the sewers, with no response. I decided f*ck it whatever maybe itll come back later. So im driving around in my alpha and go to customize it and decide to check on the insurance. For some reason, it only had a tracker. I had just pulled this car out of my garage.... So i check my turismo. Also basic insurance, even though just a half hour before i had blown it up and called it back.

What causes this? Im very frustrated that for no reason I have to rebuy and mod the jester and had to spend another 100k on full coverage on the other two vehicles.

known issue, though I've never had it happen. It used to be specific to one slot in the garage but now its random. If your worried about it you have to check it before leaving your garage to be 100%
