Only thing I will EVER use chrome for is roll cages/merryweather mesas rollbars/grills so it at least an aesthetically pleasing and accurate use of chrome. But the whole car? Neverrrrr the whole car no matter friggin what it is. The metals are so much nicer and realistic for cars. Not to mention not ugly as sin.

 

if you think it looks cool I would like to see what you wear IRL out to a nightclub or the bar.

Tiedye shirts with denim jackets? Purple DMs and a big gay emo belt buckle, badly applied guyliner and one funky novelty contact lens? A ginger fro and bread filled beard? Oh yes we are getting somewhere here.

They are quite a few cars that look good in full chrome, mainly the rusty vehicles as they hide the rust and give them a polished bare metal look.

On the other vehicles, chrome works well on trim to create contrast between body colors and trim.

Full chrome on most vehicles looks tacky and lacks creativity. IIMO.

i called chrester since i first saw one a chromed one yesterday.

 

chromed jester = chrester

chromed alpha = chralpha

I much prefer to use the dark steel metal with my crew color.

 

Aluminium metal is also very nice.

 

I <3 all the metal paint jobs to be honest.

 

Looks much better than chrome, still very shiny but not annoyingly so.

Chrome as paint takes away from the curves in the cars body, all you see is a bunch of ugly reflections.

 

The chrome Aston Martin in the Doritos commercial made a beautiful and elegant car look cheap imo, and the chrome on your Jester does the same.

Chrome can be done right OPs car with black rims is acceptable. Not my preference but I can't hate. The Alpha with yellow wheels on the other hand is inviting stickies

The only time I ever chromed a car since the start of gtao was when I was modding cars for the poor because I thought that maybe it might increase the value of the car a little bit...and I was f*cking MORTIFIED driving out of LSC with it...

 

Never again...

 

Edit: That's a lie...I put secondary chrome on a sandking...but that's acceptable
