Special Carbine, Not so special?!

ive killed 30000 players it is not any better then the other rifles,i prefer the advanced or reg carbine over it ANY DAY

Does the most damage of the assault rifles and has the least spread, ARs have the highest accuracy in GTAO of all the automatic weapons because of the least amount of spread (every round you fire is essentially gonna hit where you're aiming which is far from the case with LMGs etc) so having a weapon do basically LMG damage while being really accurate is nice..in free aim at least.

 

For the record LMGs still have a use because they have more range than ARs.

 

In auto aim I can see how its not that special because who needs all those stats when you can lock onto them instantly and get an instant headshot, hell the uzi could do that job.

I have done a bit of testing and apart from the slight damage boost and range loss is the special carbine actually any better? From what I can see they are fairly similar, just want to know what you guys think( no need to reply if you are <lvl50)

I use it simply because it looks cool and sounds badass. I only stuck the Flashlight and Fore Grip on it to keep it near original, as well as functional.

It's also pretty stupid how the scope on the special carbine is light brown. I made my carbine rifle army tint because of that. I think it looks good on the carbine but hideous on the special carbine so I left the scope off.

they could just made it the best rifle in the game. doesn't make sence to me that they didn't.

carbine rifle and advanced rifle are the best all round weapons in the game imo, but im level 127 now and not got anything else to go for currently.

Special Carbine is really the only assault rifle I use. It looks 1000x cooler than the regular carbine, the Bullpup is ugly, the AK is inferior, and I only use a silenced Advanced Rifle for deathmatches, which I rarely play.

There's so little differences between the rifles that the ugly scope on the special is enough to make me reject it.

 

I've been using the bullpup (platinum, no silencer) since it came out, looks great and does the job for me both PVP and PVE.

Don't know why but I find myself using it a lot when I have the ammo. Not a gun person in real life but I like the sound of it, and it looks nice green. The gusenberg is my go to gun if I want to wreck or damage a PV in response to being attacked while I am passive.

I try not to own more than 2 or 3 weapons in each class. in rifles I have the carbine and the special carbine with a silencer
this layout works really well for me in firefights as they are both functional and useful and give me exactly what I need in a fight

in the normal version of the game you only get the army and the lspd tint
it feels good earning tints for weapons as its one of the things you actually have to have some sort of skill to get. plus the orange looks great

If you look at the stats guys you'll see that the special carbine is the best rifle. Same damage as advanced rifle, better accuracy. The carbine rifle got less damage.

 

Best rifle in the game is actually the special carbine.

 

I have LSPD tints for both the carbine and advanced rifle, so I have experience with them too.
