I would if I had some console capture software/card. I made a GTA IV gymkhana video on PC and loved doing it, waiting for the PC version of this so I can create some cool movie scenes.

i used to have a pvr but i downgraded my ram so it dosent work

AverMedia and Hauppauge aren't that expensive I don't think. The best model maybe 200$?

 

I don't give 2 flying f*cks about streaming or I'd own some. Suggested the Hauppauge HD PVR2 to a friend awhile back and it works good for him.

 

I'd buy one yourself if you intend to stream/record older sh*t in good quality.

 

I haven't looked at internal capture card for f*cking years man.... might be worth doing some research on

Wait, why would you DOWNgrade your RAM?

 

I'm saving up for a beast of a PC at the moment and will just use fraps to start with but was considering an AverMedia Live Gamer HD card. Not sure yet though.

It's an interesting time right now for sure. With SteamOS (openGL), Mantle and now Microsoft saying they can give lower level access with DirectX...

 

Do lots of research before you pull the trigger! It's not as black and white as it was say 10 months ago.

 

The future of RAM is interesting too but to far away to hold off for. (Hybrid Memory Cube)

I'm tempted to dual boot with SteamOS but maybe not straight away. Oh yeah, definitely! I made a wishlist just before christmas but I will do an updated one when I actually have the funds to go ahead with it Now that next-gen is here, I can't wait to see what developers can do. Watch Dogs and the new Batman game look stunning so really want to be able to max them out and drool I'm just going to get some standard RAM methinks but lots of it
