Did R* change some of the background music for online missions?

I played a few missions last night (and by now I have played every mission about 100 times) and am pretty sure that with the latest patch R* changed some of the background music for some missions. They are still BGM's that are in single player, but have been applied to online missions.

 

Has anyone else noticed this?

they did but they should really update the radio stations... i'm sick of listening the same music for half a year.

As much as i completely agree with you, the licensing of all those tracks must be a major headache. I'm assuming that's the only reason they haven't included any GNR (not Chinese Democracy tracks) or The Doors

Yeah, I heard some strange backround soundtracks when playing rooftop rumble that I didn't hear before. Like, when I arrived at the checkpoint but the guy with the package didn't yet it played a sound. I think he died and it did that hunger games bs.

Ultimately the absolute best would be to allow us to load in our own music just like in gta IV. I don't think that it cost so much to produce new material with radio hosts and tho licensing can be a bitch i'm sure they can manage it.

What does surprise me is that they didn't pre-record extra DJ bits before they released it. Then, they could have staggered the release of new music and DJ additions to the station. It would then look like we're getting new content over a period of time.

 

Plus, they need to add in Danger Zone. That track should start to play the second you get in a jet
