How is robbing from an armored truck easy money?

You don't need a silenced auto shotgun. Just stand on the back side of the truck and fire 2-3 shots in the middle of the doors and the money will drop, often you'll get no wanted level. Silencer is not required.

I've noticed I *never* get a wanted level when I use a silenced auto shotty to shoot open the doors. Between saving $600 on a sticky bomb and not having to deal with a 3 star wanted level, the whole process because becomes much quicker and more profitable. Easy money.

Netted 150,000 GTA$ from constant trucks the other day, and oh it is easy.

Drive and hit the rear door with a motorcycle then 3 shots of the assault shotty or sticky to the middle of the doors and usually I get one star.

Yeah, before the recent updates, where I spent a majority of my cash...I would just hit the trucks for the RP and let someone else get the cash.

 

Now I want the RP AND the Cash...at least until I become a millionaire again, then I'll go back to worrying about leveling up.

Use the assault shotgun, you have to aim center between the handles, or you'll be blasting that thing until the cops show up.

 

I know. I did it before. For some reason this time around the doors didn't open, and for some reason the whole truck explode with a sticky bomb.

 

How close to the truck were you when you shot it? Shotguns are close-quarters weapons, you should be no more than a couple feet from it when you shoot. Otherwise you'll just pepper the whole door, which takes too many shots.

The first time I used a sticky, no money came out.

 

After that, I throw the sticky, and then shoot with my pistol to get the stars first. Then as the truck is racing away, I blow the sticky.

 

Never had an empty truck. I dunno.

If you place a sticky on the bottom left corner of the door you will only get 1 wanted level. I'm not sure if it is in 1.11 update thou but in 1.10 it works.

I like them, especially when they spawn one after the other. Mostly I got 30k, minimun I got 9k.

 

 

 

Really? Dang...the most I've ever got was 20k and that was once. I think the three I did yesterday were worth £2k, £5k and £6k....

 

2-5-6k is what I get, I see people say things like "the payout has got much better" a lot... well the armoured car cash bunny seems to have skipped my gaff this year lol!

Thing that puts me off with them though is this.... There is always others in the circle waiting... that's fine, gives me somthing (or someone) to do while I wait to collect my crate, but I don't if they fixed the whole no crate issue, and don't intend on wasting ammo for an hour to find out it is still bugged, and fools that rush to the circle ruin EVERY drop.

Armored trucks have been hit and miss for me the last 2 months.

 

More times than not it won't drop any cash even when it says it did.

Step 1:

Wait for the truck to stop at a red light.

 

Step 2:

Get out of your vehicle and take out a surpressed weapon.

 

Step 3:

Shoot the spot between the doors on back of the truck to pop them open, make sure not to fire once they open up.

 

Step 4:

You will notice the money fell out and you attained 0 stars. Pick up the money

 

Step 5:

Get back in your car and drive away like nothing ever happened.

 

Step 6:

Deposit that sh*t in the bank.

 

Easy money. Reaaaaalllllyyy easy money.

Step 1: Throw sticky on back doors

 

Step 2: Make sure you and other cars are clear from the truck to avoid blowing up entire truck.

 

Step 3: Detonate

 

Step 4: Go to LSC/apartment/call lester/evade cops

 

Which step is difficult?

 

 

I mean the truck doesnt even drop the cash sometimes. you perfectly place a sticky on the back doors and blow them up, it says cash has been dropped but theres no cash on the ground.

 

Maybe they glitch under the map ?

 

Hmm strange. I've hit countless amounts of armored trucks. Never happened once.

 

I've seen the truck explode when other cars are too close and all the money is incinerated.

 

I've also seen where someone has already hit the truck, yet it still pops up on the map as if it's a new truck, and no cash will drop even though the doors are shut.

 

Lastly, I've seen the cash not pop up for a couple seconds, particularly if the truck is moving pretty fast. And you have to go back and find it.

 

Also, every time I've died, the cash disappears.

 

Other than that it's 100% for me.

 

If 20% of the trucks you hit aren't dropping, I'm inclined to think there's something you're doing wrong. No disrespect, that's just a really big disparity.

 

The shotty method has never been consistent for me. I've blasted the back doors dead center with a full clip and nothing. That was months ago. I've been going with stickies ever since.
